Zahara BorderCollies We strive to produce healthy, active family pets and competitive sport partners! 🐾 Zahara (AKA Beeb) is the perfect all around family dog.

We are a small family owned kennel located just outside of Leonville, LA in Opelousas. I fell in love with the Border Collie breed after we brought home our first pup in early 2012, Zahara ShaBeeb. I wanted to produce dogs exactly like her for others to enjoy and so "Zahara Border Collies" was born. Our border collie's come from mostly show bloodlines with some working bloodlines mixed in as well, leaving our dogs with a medium/low working drive making them perfect for dog sport homes or active family households! We only produce one litter a year and focus on raising our pups with using the incredible Puppy Culture Program! Our puppies have proven to be great family dogs and would excel in activities such as agility, flyball, dock diving or anything else you could think of for them to try! Our puppies are currently sold without papers, with no breeding rights. Once they reach 1 year of age they may be eligible for AKC P.A.L registration if you wish to compete in AKC sporting events! Our goal is to produce strictly AKC puppies by 2024 so stay tuned as we learn and grow! Our preferred method of contact is by Facebook message! You will recieve an automated message that contains a link to our Puppy Application - please feel this out if you are interested in one of our puppies. Prospective buyers are selected based on their answers so please be honest and thorough. Thank you for your interest in one of our puppies, we look forward to hearing from you!!

6 weeks old and BIG milestones for the flowers!

They've explored the property with their parents (4 acres) and today went on their first car ride for their first vet visit! Some caused puppy chaos, some cuddled, and some couldn't be bothered to care and took naps. Such good puppy's!

Lily decided to let everyone know what she thought about her 1st shot... scroll to the end 😅

Wolfsbane, Foxglove, Lavender & Cosmos were the first to enjoy their newly expanded puppy play yard! The pups have access to an additional tunnel now as well as a large play gym complete with a saucer swing and bells! There are also two beautiful wind chimes, one wooden and one metal, to help these little ones become better adjusted to sudden sounds in their environment.

The Flower Pups are four weeks old! 💐

Personalities are developing, theyre being exposed to the outdoors, being switched from puppy mush to puppy kibble and hearing different sounds while eating meals. They also get a puppy play gym in their whelping area and now have 2 litter boxes. The doggy door has been opened for them in case they want to bravely venture outside! 🏞

If anyone wants to come over to play with the flowers youre more than welcome to do so! 😁
