It’s officially 👻 Spooky Season 🎃 at Copper Crowne…

09/29/2026

Yesterday, one of our favorite clients rolled up to the clinic with a WAGON FULL OF BORDER COLLIE PUPPIES and apparently expected us to get any work done. 🙄😂

First puppy visits for these little guys meant vaccines, exams, and approximately 847 kisses from the staff. 🐶💉❤️

They may be small, but there was definitely FULL SIZE chaos!!

ATTENTION, PEOPLE WITH A CLOSET FULL OF RAGGEDY TOWELS…

You know those towels and blankets you keep because “they’re still good!” even though they’ve seen better days?

WE WANT THEM. 😂🐾

We are looking for old towels and blankets to use for our boarding babies and surgery patients. They don’t care if they’re faded, mismatched, or have lost their former glory. They just need to be clean, usable, and ready for a second career! 🐶🐱

🛁 Old bath towels
🛏️ Small/medium blankets
🐾 Fleece blankets

Our patients use them to stay warm, comfy, cozy, and clean while they’re with us. ❤️

Your old towels could be a very good dog’s new favorite blanket. 🥹🐾

Thank you for helping us keep our patients cozy!

25 Years.

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001, and the lives forever changed by that tragic day.

We honor the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost, the brave first responders who ran toward danger, the military members who answered the call, and the families who have carried their loss for 25 years.

Twenty-five years later, the memories remain, the stories live on, and the sacrifice of so many will never be forgotten.

Today and always, we remember. ❤️🤍💙

🚨 IMPORTANT COMMUNITY ALERT — RABIES CASE CONFIRMED.

We want to make our community aware that we have had a confirmed positive rabies case in Mire, LA, involving an unvaccinated dog.

Rabies is a serious and fatal disease that can affect both animals and people.

Please take a moment to check your pet’s rabies vaccination status. If your dog or cat is overdue or has never been vaccinated, please contact your veterinarian to get them protected.

⚠️ As a reminder, avoid contact with wildlife or unfamiliar animals, and teach children not to approach animals they don’t know.

Please don’t wait until there’s an exposure to think about rabies prevention. If you’re unsure whether your pet’s vaccines are current, give us a call — we’re happy to help you get them up to date. ❤️🐾 337-407-8600

A Little More Kindness, A Little More Dolly

Today, we’re saying goodbye to a true icon.

Dolly Parton gave the world music, laughter, hope, and perhaps most importantly, a whole lot of kindness. And that kindness extended to our four-legged friends, too. 🐾

Dolly’s lifelong love of animals inspired her to create Doggy Parton, a pet collection that helped support Willa B. Farms Animal Rescue, where homeless, neglected, abused, and abandoned animals could find safety and love. She also used her beautiful voice to remind the world that dogs need companionship, and she never hesitated to lend her heart to an animal in need. ❤️

As a veterinary family, we know just how much love, comfort, and joy our animals bring into our lives. So today, we’re remembering Dolly for more than the music.

Rest easy, Dolly. Thank you for showing us that a little kindness can go a mighty long way.

We want your opinion! 🐾🎨

Our groomer is considering offering fun, pet-safe airbrush and creative color dye services for your pups!

The color typically lasts 3–4 months, and pricing would vary based on your dog’s size and the design you’d like.

Before she orders supplies, we need to know if there’s enough interest. The dye has an expiration date, so she doesn’t want to order more than she would be able to use! A few design examples are in the photos below.

Would you be interested?
💚 = Yes! I would book.
💛 = Maybe! I’d like more information.
❤️ = Not for my pup, but I love seeing other dogs with fun colors!

We can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks! 🌈
