We see any companion animal - big or small - including exotic animals such as rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and reptiles. We also allow foryou to pick up or drop off boarding pets on Saturday from 5-5:30 p.m., Sunday 8-8:30 a.m. and Sunday afternoon from 5-5:30 p.m.

Due to weather conditions we will be closed tomorrow, Saturday, October 10th. We will only have boarding pick-up and drop-off available from 5:00pm-5:30pm as we don’t know when the roads will be safe in the morning (staff WILL be caring for the boarders as soon as conditions are safe in the morning!).

Dr. Rider and Bailey had a wonderful evening attending an educational dinner last week hosted by American Regent Animal Health to learn more about Adequan®, an injectable treatment option for managing osteoarthritis and supporting joint health in our veterinary patients. 🐶🐱

A big thank you to Rich Tharpe and Dr. Paris Revoir for an informative and engaging presentation, and for sharing valuable insights that help us continue providing the best care possible for our patients. We also truly enjoyed the delicious meal at Acre! 🍽️

Our team at Countryside Veterinary Clinic recently had the opportunity to participate in an educational Luncheon & Learn with Elanco, where we learned more about their new allergy injection, Befrena.

🇺🇸🎆 Want your dog to enjoy the fireworks like this?? Fireworks can be fun for us, but frightening for our pets! 🎆🇺🇸

If your dog or cat gets anxious during fireworks, don't wait until the last minute to make a plan. The Fourth of July is one of the busiest times of the year for lost and frightened pets, but a little preparation can help keep them safe and comfortable.

Here are a few helpful tips:
🐾 Keep pets indoors in a secure, quiet room.
🐾 Close blinds and curtains to reduce flashes and outside noise.
🐾 Turn on the TV, a fan, or calming music to help mask the sound.
🐾 Make sure collars, ID tags, and microchip information are up to date.
🐾 Never take pets to fireworks displays.
🐾 If your pet has been prescribed noise aversion or anti-anxiety medication, give it as directed—many medications work best when given before the fireworks start.
