Hey Fur Friends! Ticks are already getting bad this year. Make sure you check over your pup on a regular basis to make sure they have not picked up one of these unwelcome hitchhikers. A really good flea/tick medication or collar should help keep them away. Clearing away dead leaves and brush helps keep down the prescence of ticks in your yard along with treating your yard with something to kill unwanted pests - as long as it is safe for your pets.

Looking for an experienced Pet Stylist/Groomer for our well-established busy salon in Ooltewah area. A love for working with dogs is a must for this position! The ideal candidate should have a high school education, reliable transportation, pet grooming certificate of education and at least 2 years all breed grooming preferred. Must consent to a background/drug test prior to employment. Uniforms and some tools for the job are supplied. Job Duties: Include talking with pet parents about preferred look for their dog, grooming all breeds in a safe and considerate manner, working with other groomers/bathers to keep a clean well running salon. Ability to be on your feet for an extended amount of time, ability to bend at the waist, and lift around 50 lbs is required. Benefits include no weekends or holidays, and 1 week's paid vacation after 1 year of employment. Guaranteed clients for immediate income. Position is W-2 employee making commission pay plus tips. The salon has an office manager to assist in the smooth running of the daily schedule. The hours of operation are 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Due to the forecast of inclement weather, Peticure Grooming will be closed on Monday, January 26. The safety of our staff, clients, and their furry family members is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding as we make this decision. We plan to open on a delay Tuesday January 27 because of the frigid overnight/morning temperatures.
Please stay safe and warm! Remember to keep your pet warm during this cold weather. Limit time outside, make sure they have a jacket/sweater on when out for bathroom breaks, and keep them as dry as possible to avoid temperature shock.

We are soo grateful for our loving and generous clients! We always get soo much wonderful stuff to donate to the needy pets during the season of giving. We donated to our normal 3 places, the SPCA of Bradley County, the Humane Society of Hamilton County, and the Brainerd Food Pantry. We appreciate each and every one of you that donated and we look forward to continuing to do this lovely service as long as we are able. ❤️

Happy Fall Everyone! Over the last couple of years, we have collected donations for the less fortunate animals in our community. We have had a great turnout and the dedication to the community’s less fortunate has been amazing. We will be doing another donation drive for the month of November to be divided among the Humane Society of Chattanooga, the SPCA of Bradley County, and the Brainerd Community Food Bank the day after Thanksgiving. Donations can be any dog or cat food (dry or wet), treats, toys, bedding, or litter. We will also be accepting people food items this year. We will be accepting any food item that is shelf stable non perishable, in date, new and unopened to help people during this difficult time in the rough economy. This does not have to be expensive, and we will in turn give your pet a free tooth brushing valued at $6.00. No monetary donations will be accepted. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and patronage during this holiday season.

The Bridge at Ooltewah had a wonderful Paws for a Cause event for the 4th year last Friday! The pup parade was a favorite for the community for sure. Our employees made sure to show their support for them and their cause by bringing their fur babies out for the parade and costume contest. Our shop was grateful for the opportunity to donate a basket for the awards table. All proceeds went to support the Parkinson's Foundation. It was a fun way to show off your pup for a great cause!
