Doug’s first visit is officially in the books! 🐶💙

This sweet little guy was full of curiosity (and just a tiny bit of puppy uncertainty), but he did an amazing job during his very first exam. First puppy visits are all about building positive experiences, checking growth and development, discussing vaccines and parasite prevention, and making sure your new best friend gets off to the healthiest start possible.

Dr. Pepper getting a very thorough examination from Odie! 🩺❤️ We always say veterinary care is a team effort, but we didn’t expect Odie to be checking the doctor’s heart! Safe to say Dr. Pepper passed his exam—with plenty of kisses and cuddles along the way. 🐶

Another update from Applebrook Animal Hospital...

Unfortunately, this week has continued to throw us challenges. Our air conditioning is still not repaired. The replacement part has been ordered, but we do not yet have an estimated installation date.

On top of that, a stomach bug is making its way through our team.

Because of this, we will be closed Thursday and Friday.

We know this is an inconvenience, and we truly hate having to make this decision. Our priority has always been providing safe, compassionate care, and we don't feel we can do that with a depleted team and an uncomfortably hot hospital.

If your pet experiences a medical emergency while we're closed, please contact your nearest emergency veterinary hospital.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and the kindness so many of you have shown us this week. We are incredibly grateful for this community and will continue to keep you updated as soon as we know more about the air conditioning repair.
