As part of our commitment to transparency and community engagement, ARC shares a weekly “Call for Community Support” on social media.

• Are struggling in the shelter environment
• May have medical and/or behavioral challenges
• Urgently need support from the community

***Animals in this post require adoption or rescue commitment by 5pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.***

Timely community response can directly impact their outcome. If an animal’s condition or behavior continues to decline without an adopter or a rescue partner committing by the stated deadline, humane euthanasia may be considered.

Our goal is to provide a clearer understanding of the challenges animals face in the shelter environment, and the role public support can play in helping them find the right placement.

If you’ve considered adopting from ARC or becoming a rescue partner, we'd love to connect with you. Sharing these posts can also help connect an animal with the right person!

• Highly food motivated and excelled while working with a trainer

Achilles has severe separation anxiety. He struggles with being alone, even for brief moments in or outside of the home.

Meet “the triplets” 🐾💛
 
Pluto, Kenai, and Koda have been at ARC for 90+ days. These playful shepherd mix brothers were picked up in Ontario just one day apart back in February, and staff instantly knew they had to be related with their (almost) identical faces and goofy energy 😂
 
They’ve got big puppy energy, love to play, and are more than ready to trade shelter life for couches, toys, and zoomies.
 
Come meet Pluto, Kenai, and Koda and foster or adopt one of the triplets today!
