Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸🤠
As we point the truck north and head home from the National Little Britches Rodeo Finals in Oklahoma City, our hearts are full.
The first go was one we’ll never forget. It was filled with nerves, big emotions, and heartbreak. That’s the reality of rodeo. These boys pour their hearts and souls into their horses, their practice, and this way of life. Sometimes things don’t go the way you’ve dreamed.
But that’s not where their story ended.
The second go brought confidence, better runs, smiles, and times they could be proud of. More than anything, it reminded us why we love this sport. Rodeo teaches grit, resilience, humility, and the courage to climb back in the saddle after disappointment.
We’re incredibly thankful for my parents making the trip to cheer these boys on, and for every text, phone call, prayer, and message from home. It truly takes a village to raise rodeo kids, and we’re blessed with the very best one.
To our mentors, coaches, sponsors, farriers, veterinarians, family, friends, and everyone who has invested time, encouragement, and support into these boys—thank you. You are part of every mile, every run, and every memory.
As we celebrate our nation’s independence today, we’re reminded how grateful we are for the freedom to chase big dreams, raise our family with Western values, and make memories together on this rodeo road.
Homeward bound with full hearts, tired horses, and plenty of stories to tell.
Happy 4th of July from the Urbain crew! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
