Outlaws K9 Training is proud to offer services for reactive dogs utilizing our incredible demo dog Arsyn. Owned and handled by Sierra key, our trainer.
If you are looking for reactivity training and get tired of trying to get a dog to stop barking at every dog and person who passes look no further.
There are no gimmicks here. We use real world experience and real dogs to achieve neutrality for all of our clients.
Our demo dog will help your dog feel better about every dog who passes on the road, secure enough to walk quietly past even the nosiest dogs. We take our reactivity training step by step, starting with Arsyn in a ‘place’ behavior while your dog figures out that she’s not a threat. Then adding movement, using the ‘speak’ command to add noise, and adding in intensity and drive to imitate a reactive dog.

Are you tired of your dog pulling on the leash everywhere you go? Would you like to take your dog to farmer's markets, pet friendly stores, and out on pleasant walks?
Outlaws K9 Training has the right program for you!
We use positive based training methods to teach your dog how to heel perfectly on every walk. Start enjoying your walks with your dog as they respect the leash and pay attention to you.
This program is affordable for everyone and includes 5 total training sessions. For 4 of those training sessions our professional dog trainer will come to your home and take your dog on walks where they will be training their loose leash walking/heel skills the whole time. During those sessions our trainer will take videos to show you how to apply those skills when you start practicing with your dog. After the third or fourth session the trainer will conduct a private training session where you will take the leash and start enjoying a brand new life with your dog with no pulling!
Of course some dogs need a little more time, we offer a free in home consultation where we will come evaluate the dog and their pulling. Our trainer will give you specific recommendations during that time, however most of our dogs can have wonderful heeling and loose leash walking skills in just 5 sessions.
We are now accepting new clients for the month of June and it is perfect timing to train your dogs heel so that you can enjoy the summer's walks, hikes, and public activities.

Outlaws K9 Training is now offering classes!

Pricing and classes we are offering are listed down below. They will all have a start date of May 2nd, 2026. You are welcome to book through the links below or shoot us a message to chat more about what we offer.

Basic Obedience Level 1: This is a 6 week class. Basic obedience level 1 will cover all the basics! Learn how to lure, listen to leash pressure, sit, down, foundations for loose leash walking, recall, and stay.
This will be a comprehensive six week course that covers all the foundations you need to move on to the CGC class.

Basic Obedience Level 1 will be at 10 am on Saturdays.

CGC Class (Basic Obedience Level 2): This is a 6 week class. The CGC (canine good citizen) class will cover all the test requirements of the AKC CGC test. Commonly required for therapy dogs.

The following skills are a part of this test. When the class is completed you will test for your CGC title. If you pass you will be awarded a ribbon, certificate, and title.

Test 1: accepting a friendly stranger
Test 2: sitting politely for petting
Test 3: appearance and grooming
Test 4: out for a walk (walking on a loose lead)
Test 5: walking through a crowd
Test 6: sit and down on cue and stay in place
Test 7: coming when called
Test 8: reaction to another dog
Test 9: reaction to distraction
Test 10: supervised separation

CGC Class will be at 11:15 am on Saturdays

Leash Walking/Heel Class:
This is a 4 week class specialized to Heel/Loose leash walking. We will focus on training your dog to walk nicely on a leash with a heel position and a loose leash walking position. We will work in distracting areas and easier areas as the dogs progress through their training.

Leash walking Class will be at 12:30 pm on Saturdays.

Reactivity/Barking Class:
This class is 6 weeks. Reactivity class will focus on dogs that are dog reactive. You must first schedule a free consultation before joining this class. If your dog barks at other dogs, has a hard time settling around other dogs, or pulls towards other dogs on every walk, this is the class for you!
We will focus on getting your dog focused on you and not worried about the other dogs in the class.

Reactivity Class will be at 2:00 pm on Saturdays.

We took our demo dog out for a little training today and decided to take a quick video to answer some frequently asked questions about our off leash training program. We teach dogs necessary skills to give them the freedom they deserve. We believe that knowing that your dog won’t take off when you let them off leash is very important. Not to mention giving them access to off leash time helps mental and physical health for your pups. The right training is crucial to safety while off leash and we would love to help you and your dog achieve that.

We have heard a lot of our clients say that they love their group classes but that they struggle to see the results at home. It has made us think a lot about if there are other people who feel the same. We have considered starting group classes where we would go to coffee shops, farmers markets, and pet friendly stores to train. In the hopes that the skills would transfer over a little easier. We would love to see if there would be any interest in that. Or if in home training is just the way to continue.
Our clients see incredible change after working with our program but we would like to offer some more affordable options and group classes are a sure way to do that.
