Good Samaritan Pet Doctor: Affordable Surgery and Dental Care We are a mission driven veterinary clinic working tirelessly to ensure every pet has access to high quality surgery and dental care regardless of cost.

Our services are straightforward and prices are all inclusive so pet owners know exactly what they are getting without any hidden fees or surprise prices. We are not a full service veterinary clinic and we are not a spay/neuter clinic. By limiting the scope of our services, we can provide the most affordable pet surgery and dental care in town without compromising quality. By making lifesaving and life extending surgery and dental care possible for all pets, we help to put an end to economic euthanasias, pet abandonment, and pets forced to ‘go without’.

Veterinary Team Appreciation Week Spotlight, day 5: Our Veterinarians 🩺🦷✨

Today we're celebrating the doctors who lead our team with skill, precision, and compassion: Dr. Engel, Dr. Burbach, and Dr. Kennedy!

As a high-quality, high-volume surgery and dentistry-only facility, our veterinarians dedicate every day to helping pets live healthier, more comfortable lives. From surgical procedures to complex dental treatments, they combine expertise, efficiency, and individualized patient care to achieve the best possible outcomes for every patient.

Thank you, doctors, for your leadership, dedication, and the countless lives you've impacted. We are grateful for everything you do and proud to have you at the heart of our team. ❤️

This was a "fun" one... she ate her very own toy! 😹

The culprit? A dangling string cat toy that looked a little too tempting. While cats are experts at turning everyday objects into entertainment, strings, ribbons, and string toys can be especially dangerous when swallowed.

⚠️ Be careful out there! If you notice missing pieces from toys, vomiting, decreased appetite, or lethargy, give your veterinarian a call.

😼 What in the "meow" is THAT?!

Foreign body Friday up for grabs. We're going to change it up here and post the x-ray. This is a cat that tried to have too much of a good time. See if you can guess what we're dangling in front of you.

🐾✨ Surgery Snippets ✨🐾

This week we're featuring Intussusception, a serious condition where one section of the intestine "telescopes" into another, causing a blockage and preventing food and fluids from moving normally through the digestive tract.

🚨 Common signs may include: • Vomiting • Diarrhea (sometimes with blood) • Loss of appetite • Abdominal pain • Lethargy

Intussusception can quickly become an emergency and often requires surgery to correct the blockage and restore normal intestinal function.

In the veterinary world, this week is a special opportunity to recognize and celebrate some of the incredible people who make such a difference in our field! 💙

FB Friday: Apparently, someone thought rocks were on the menu! 😅

A sweet pup came to see us after swallowing a rock that definitely wasn't meant to be a snack. Thankfully, our team was able to safely remove it, and they're on the road to recovery! 💙

A friendly reminder that our furry friends don't always make the best dining choices, so keep an eye on what they're chewing on during playtime.
