I’ve been getting to this point for a very long time. May 1st will be my first full day of retirement. I plan on spending a lot of time in my garden and sitting with a cup of coffee and reading an actual book and not just quick short stories. Playing with (and grooming) my pups, Koda and Diego and keeping my hubby, Dan, company in his new art studio at our home. And maybe I’ll get back in touch with my creative side that’s been dormant for too many years. Can’t wait!! But I will be around the shop on occasion, so look for me! And feel free to give me a call!

We need to find this precious little girl a home. Peaches is now in a foster home for Wag N Train Terrier Rescue (where I got my precious Norwich Terrier, Diego). I’ve been watching this little girl’s journey for a few months since she came into the rescue with a liver shunt. After several fund raisers in her honor she was able to get surgery to repair it. She’s now healed and ready for her forever home. I’d love to see someone local adopt her so I can watch her grow. She’s only 7 or 8 months old and tiny. She’s also a Norwich Terrier like my boys. She’s very good with other dogs and has a tail that never stops wagging. Please consider adding her to your family, she really is a sweetheart. You can adopt her by filling out an application and putting down that she is the pup you’re interested in. I’m not sure if Peaches is even pictured on their website. If you bring your dog to me for grooming, use me as your reference. Wag N Trains link is below.

Come shop for a good cause. All proceeds go to Peaches liver shunt surgery. Peaches is the sweetest, tiniest Norwich Terrier puppy who is a rescue at WagNTrain Terrier Rescue. This is the same rescue my adorable Norwich, Diego, came from. Help us get Peaches her surgery so she can be adopted and get her own forever home.

These super sweet Norwich Terriers are looking for homes. I cannot stress what amazing (and fairly rare) that Norwich Terriers are, and to to have them show up in rescue is beyond amazing. My last four dogs have been Norwich Terriers and I still have my two, sweet two year old boys, one of which came from WagNTrin Terrier Rescue. Please give them a look and if you can’t adopt, consider fostering. They truly are a great breed. And I know the perfect groomer for them! 😊

Beautiful, lovable Bernese Mountain Dog, Theodore, is definitely a shop favorite. He’s roughly 150 pounds of cuddly love and snuggles. He prefers to sit on laps instead of the table and doesn’t get the concept that he’s supposed to stand ‘on’ the table and not over it.

He’s groomed on the hydraulic table on low, without a restraint, because he’s such a good boy (and a little bit because he’s such a big boy). Occasionally if his groomer walks away from him, he’ll slowly step off the table and ‘sneak’ very slowly, between all the groomers to the front. He’s so tiny, who would see him? When someone asks him where he’s going, he’ll stop, mid-step, like he can’t believe anyone actually saw him, turns around and goes back to the table and steps back up. He then looks around like he’s been there the entire time. Goofy boy!!
