🚴 Rain or shine Team Midwest Labs shows up!

In August our Midwest Labs team took on the Corporate Cycling Challenge and the RAIN was present. Despite the downpour our riders hit the course and represented Midwest Labs with plenty of team spirit.

Give it up for our riders: Darbie McMahon, Stacey Gutchewsky, Stephanie Peterson, Zach Hettenbaugh, Michael Richardson, and Ann Kumm! A special thank you to Darbie McMahon for once again championing our team and bringing everyone together for this year’s ride.

The event also marked the debut of our brand new corporate cycling jerseys designed by our Senior Graphic Designer, Bobby! The new look received plenty of positive feedback from our riders and the community so you can expect to see these jerseys representing Midwest Labs for rides to come.

As an organization it is a part of our mission to serve our community and we love supporting causes in our backyard that benefit all. The Corporate Cycling Challenge supports a great cause. Proceeds benefit the Eastern Nebraska Trails Network (ENTN), a nonprofit organization that advocates for and supports the development of multi-use trails throughout the greater Omaha area and eastern Nebraska.

Since its formation in 1992, ENTN has helped support trail development, connections, amenities, and other projects that make our communities more accessible for cyclists, pedestrians, and outdoor enthusiasts.

The event has helped to contribute more than $198,400 to trail development, helping support projects ranging from the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge to the MoPac Trail and additional trail connections throughout the region.

We’re proud of this crew for braving the rain, supporting our community, and making another Corporate Cycling Challenge one to remember.
