More and more people are becoming interested in the benefits of therapeutic gardens specifically designed to address applications within rehabilitative healthcare settings. What is an accessible therapeutic garden? A plant-dominated garden designed to facilitate active or passive interaction with the healing elements of nature. Design features may include garden beds rai

sed higher to accommodate the utilization of wheelchairs and mobile vehicles, graded paths that are widened to provide accessible entrances and the inclusion of sensory-orientated plants of varying color, texture and fragrance. We’re currently asking for volunteers and donations to help us build and make our mission possible. If you feel participating in the therapeutic garden activities could be beneficial for your mental and physical health please fill out our referral form.
