Lions and tigers and heart-worms, oh my!🫣

Heart-worms sure say “There is no place like home” in your dog’s heart! 🫀🪱

As summer is wrapping up it is still important to protect your dogs all 12 months of the year! Heart-worms are a year round danger not just in the warmer months like fleas and ticks.

For years there have been the once a month chewable prevention that sometimes gets missed when the months start to blur together or the box slips to the back of the medicine cabinet. Thankfully there is no longer a need to worry! We now carry a solution for this issue!

Proheart 12 is a ONCE A YEAR injectable that gives your dog 12 months of heart-worm prevention in one simple shot just like their yearly vaccine’s! ⚠️Big changes are happening!⚠️

As many of you have seen we are currently in the process of switching to our new software called Vello. While it is still a learning process we are excited to share the new things we have discovered and are now putting into motion to try and help ease the process during your visits!

All of our appointment reminder text are now coming strictly from Vello. In those reminder messages there is a link to view the appointment details which will direct you to a Pre-Visit Questionnaire or a Pre-Surgical Consent Form. Clicking the link will take you directly to the forms. These forms cover a majority of the questions our assistants ask in office which can help cut down on wait times once in the room!

It's very simple and easy to fill out! Each question has a response box or multiple choice option. Once the form is complete it uploads to your animals account and we are able to view it!

The following visits have forms available to fill out:
-Wellness & Vaccines 💉
-Sick Exams 😷
-Boarding Consent Forms 🛏
-Surgery Consent Forms📝🦷

While this is not required it does help our assistants and doctors make your visit quicker and smoother!
