🌱🌼 Let the Gardening Season Begin! 🌼🌱
We’re excited to kick off another garden season at the Intercultural Senior Center! A heartfelt thank-you to The Big Garden for their continued support and partnership in helping our garden grow.
Special thanks as well to Kathy from Tri-Faith Initiative, who so kindly delivered the plants and helped us get off to a beautiful start. Our seniors are already looking forward to getting their hands in the soil, nurturing these plants, and enjoying all the joy that gardening brings.

We love getting soil from Soil Dynamics!! Highly recommend!!

As Omaha’s first and only commercial composting farm, we’ve been busy!

Here’s what we’ve been up too -

🌱We received the 2025 Organics Diversion Program of the Year award for compost education & outreach from the US Composting Council

🌱Our team worked together to create the Hillside Foundation. This program’s focus is on ensuring the people who have the passion to make a difference finally get the support they deserve

🌱We have diverted thousands of tons of compostable material from landfills & brought it to our compost yards to turn into gold. Well, we turned it into compost, soil & mulch that will help heal the land & water in our state. So basically gold, right?

🌱We’ve donated the soil that you helped create to programs like City Sprouts, No More Empty Pots, Whispering Roots, The Big Garden & so many more, where its helping community gardens grows fresh food for people right here in Omaha

We’re just getting started!

The spring season is in full swing at the Soil Dynamics yard & farm. If your home is ready to bring in material for composting or to purchase material to bring home to your personal gardens please check out our hours below
