Now that the holidays are winding down, it’s time to recycle your real Christmas tree! Christmas tree disposal sites across the Omaha metro are open during daylight hours through January 9th. Before you go, please remove all lights, ornaments, wires, nails, tree stands, and plastic bags. 🎄

- 156th & F Street Football Field
- Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium
- Kelley Softball Complex
- Orchard Park
- Ta-Ha-Zouka Park

TREE-MINDERS!
✂️ Fresh Cut for Water Absorption: make sure to get a fresh cut on your tree and get in water as soon as possible. If not putting up right away, make sure to give it a fresh cut at home!
💧 Water, Water, Water! Trees drink a lot, especially in the first day or two. Keep your water bowl full and the base of the trunk submerged at all times.
❄️ Stay Cool: Keep your tree away from radiators, fireplaces, and direct sunlight to slow the drying process.
🎄Have you heard about adding lemonade, sugar, or aspirin to your Christmas Tree’s water bowl? There’s no scientific evidence to support this. Water is all your tree needs to stay healthy!
