🐾🎉 What a fun week it’s been at The Pet Clinic! ❤️

We’ve had such a great time celebrating Veterinary Employee Appreciation Week! From delicious food and sweets to thoughtful gifts, games, laughter, and a little friendly competition, it’s been a week full of fun! We even had Scooby-Doo and Shaggy socks that hold hands!

A HUGE thank you to our wonderful clients and vendors who spoiled our team with food and goodies throughout the week! Your kindness and generosity mean so much to us! ❤️

Most importantly, this week was all about celebrating our AMAZING team! Their hard work, compassion, dedication, and love for our patients are what make The Pet Clinic such a special place.

We are so fortunate to have such an incredible group of people working together every day. We truly appreciate each and every one of you, and we couldn’t do it without you! 🐶🐱❤️🐾

🐾 It’s Veterinary Employee Appreciation Week, and today Carl REALLY earned some appreciation! 😂👏

Let’s talk about the things our amazing veterinary team does behind the scenes!

This handsome (and slightly mischievous) pup came to visit us after treating himself to a delicious tube of Desitin… followed by dessert of more than half of a large bag of trail mix! 😳🐶

Four pounds of vomit later (yes, you read that right! 🤢), Carl helped get this sweet boy on the road to feeling better!

Veterinary medicine isn’t always glamorous, but it takes a special kind of person to do this job with compassion, patience, and a smile!

It takes a team, and we’re so lucky to have each and every one of our employees here at The Pet Clinic! 🐾💙

🦔 Some patients are a little more… prickly than others! Meet Rocket, this adorable 4-year-old hedgehog.

Rocket is nocturnal, so he’s most active at night…perfect for late-night adventures, snack runs, and tiny hedgehog zoomies!

Did you know when hedgehogs feel scared or unsure, they curl up into a little ball of spikes? Basically, they turn into an adorable pincushion with an attitude!

Hedgehogs may be small, but they still need special care, including the right diet, proper temperatures, and regular checkups with a veterinary team that knows exotic pets.

We love meeting pets of all shapes, sizes, and species! 🐾

Rainy October days are better with a little pink! 🌧️💗 Keelee stopped by to visit us today in her adorable pink raincoat, and she definitely brightened up this gloomy day! ☔🐾

We think she deserves an award for best-dressed visitor! 🩷🐶

🐾💕 Tiny Paws, Big Beginnings! 💕🐾

There’s nothing quite like puppy snuggles! 🥹🐶 But did you know those first few veterinary visits are about SO much more than vaccines and checkups?

They’re about building a lifetime of trust!

A puppy’s early experiences at the vet can shape how they feel about veterinary care for the rest of their lives. That’s why we believe in making those first visits as positive, gentle, and LOVE-FILLED as possible!

🐾 Lots of love and cuddles - Because sometimes the best medicine is a little extra snuggling! 💗

🐾 Positive reinforcement - Treats, praise, gentle handling, and encouragement help create happy memories.

🐾 Early health checks - Monitoring growth, development, and overall health helps us catch potential concerns early.

🐾 Building confidence - Introducing puppies to new sights, sounds, smells, and friendly faces helps make future visits less intimidating.

🐾 Creating lifelong friendships - We want your puppy to recognize our clinic as a place filled with familiar faces, kindness, and love!

Our goal isn’t just to raise healthy puppies. It’s to help raise confident, happy dogs who aren’t afraid of visiting the vet.

And if that means we spend a few extra minutes giving belly rubs, stealing puppy kisses, or carrying your little one around like a baby… well, that’s just part of the job! 😉🥰

😂 I feel like someone is watching me…

Today’s receptionist is a little scaly, slightly judgmental, and apparently VERY concerned about what’s happening on the other side of those holes. 👀

“Excuse me… I was told this box had room service?”

Just another completely normal day at the vet clinic. 😂🐾

Take a guess as to what’s in the box!

🐾 Meet Squirrel! 🐾

This handsome 12-month-old ferret wasn’t feeling quite like himself lately, so his family brought him in to see us. Our Licensed Veterinary Technician, Carl is on Team Squirrel, helping him get back to his sweet, mischievous ways.

We know that cone isn’t exactly Squirrel’s favorite accessory, but he’s rocking it like a champ! 😄 A little TLC and some expert care, and we’re confident this little guy will be back to his usual antics in no time.

Get well soon, Squirrel…we can’t wait to see that mischievous personality shine!💙
