šš» Jasper ā The Keeper of the Haunted Manor
Jasper is a Bernedoodle/Pit Bull mix born December 16, 2023, and if he were starring in a Halloween movie, he'd be the quirky caretaker of a haunted manor who prefers staying home with his closest friends instead of running around town looking for adventure.
This handsome guy takes a little time deciding who belongs in his inner circle. New people aren't automatically granted access to Jasper's haunted estate, and he prefers to make introductions at his own pace. But once you've earned his trust? Congratulations. You've been granted lifetime membership to the Very Exclusive Jasper Fan Club.
With his favorite people, Jasper is goofy, affectionate, and completely devoted. He's the kind of dog who follows his person from room to room, happily supervises all household activities, and believes bedtime cuddles are an essential part of a successful day.
Jasper absolutely adores other dogs and does wonderfully with cats. He may prefer slower introductions with new canine friends, but once he's comfortable, he wants to be with them practically 24/7. A furry sibling may very well be the key to his happily-ever-after.
His favorite things include mealtimes, treats, chew bones, his foster siblings, bedtime snuggles, and carrying random objects around the house whenever he's excited. Toys are a classic choice, but shoes, pillows, blankets, and whatever else happens to be nearby are all perfectly acceptable emotional-support props. He also has a charming habit of delivering his empty food bowl to his foster mom whenever he's finished eating, just in case she somehow forgot how wonderful dinner was. šš
Jasper is fully potty trained and kennel trained, and he's a smart boy who already knows commands like sit, paw, and outside. While he has plenty of energy, he's surprisingly not much of an adventurer. Walks are fine, but Jasper's ideal day looks more like hanging out at home with his favorite people and animal friends than conquering the great outdoors.
One thing Jasper would like noted in the haunted manor rulebook: young children are not his thing. He'd do best in a home with adults or older teenagers who can respect his space and help him feel comfortable.
And while Jasper is willing to tolerate many things in life, being brushed is not one of them. Every Halloween story needs a villain, and apparently for Jasper, it's a hairbrush.
Behind his cautious exterior is a goofy, loyal boy with a huge heart and even bigger feelings. Give him time to trust you, and you'll discover a best friend who sticks closer than any Halloween shadow.
This spooky season, Jasper isn't searching for a haunted houseāhe's searching for a home, a comfy couch, a few furry friends, and someone to share all of life's treats with. š§”š¾
