Friendly Grove Blueberry Farm Getting ready for the 2022 season! We will open approximately mid-July. Check back here for updates on the exact date, times we'll be open, and special events.

This is a U-pick blueberry farm, and we keep it natural (though not certified organic, we use no chemicals, herbicides, pesticides or synthetics in our field.) This is a beautiful setting with a lot of bio-diversity around the field, super close to down town, but you feel transported to a peaceful place when picking. You might say hi to our goats, see chickens clucking about, or be kept company by

our farm cats patrolling the field. On site parking available, AND the farm is a great place to get to by bicycle! And you can take the 21 Bus and we are just a 10-15 minute walk from the Friendly Grove/26th stop.

I’m sorry to say it’s time for blueberry season to come to a close. today will be the last day that anyone can come pick berries, although there’s not very much out there now. It’s been an incredibly wonderful summer with so many new visitors along with so many returning loyal You-pickers. I was fortunate to have a great crew of field workers and harvesters for the farmers’ market. I’m looking forward to the quiet and brilliance of the fall when the entire field will be in scarlet hues. Thank you so much to the Olympia blueberry community. I hope to see you all next year!!

We’re nearing the end of our 2026 Blueberry season, which has been wonderful. If you still want to pick your own berries, the farm will remain open through the Labor Day weekend for you-pickers. If you want any pre-picked berries please give a call to 360-528-0207 to make an order for frozen berries.

Frozen berries are $33 for a gallon, which is about 5 pounds of berries. They are the best tasting frozen berries you’ll find around.

We’ve got a great event coming up on Sunday, August 16 from six till 8 PM. Our local Mukana Marimba band will be playing here at the farm!  Come enjoy their lively music from Zimbabwe. You can sit and listen or get up and dance or go out into the field and pick Blueberries to the music! Please bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on the cost is suggested donation of $10 per person with kids being free.

We had such a sweet concert on the farm last night with Choro Tomorrow. I think it was a little under attended due to the rain that came a half an hour before they were gonna start. It did stop raining in time and they just played the most beautiful music!

Come on out to the farm to pick berries every day from eight until 8 PM. There’s still a great abundance of beautiful berries!

The berries have ripened up much sooner than normal. We’re expecting heat this coming week so it’s better to come out and pick berries before the heat causes any damage. Which it might or might not. But so many have ripened up! If you want the best experience, come in the mornings when it’s cool and breezy and just lovely for picking berries but anytime is good. They are 3.75 a pound for you-pick. $6.50/ pound for prepicked berries.

We have gift certificates you can purchase for a friend or family member. When you purchase a gift certificate for someone, it’s supports our Farm and brings new people to Blueberry picking. It’s also a gift they receive from you. This can be purchased at our stand on the farm or by calling 360-528-0207 and request requesting a gift certificate for someone!
