My Best Friend Veterinary Center Loving, expert and complete veterinary care for dogs and cats since 1992 We consider our own pets family members and treat our patients the same way.

From annual wellness exams and vaccinations to surgical and diagnostic care, your pet will receive the best personalized veterinary medical care at My Best Friend Veterinary Center. Our philosophy is that the ultimate health of your dog or cat begins with preventive care. We try to avoid hospitalization because animals do better in a familiar environment; however, when hospitalization is necessary we encourage you to call for updates and arrange for visits. Your best friend will feel at ease and even look forward to coming to see us. The trust and closeness that makes a dog or cat part of your family will carry through at My Best Friend. We offer 30 minute appointments to provide an unrushed thorough visit with lots of time for your questions. And our “referral program” offers credits to any satisfied client who refers a friend or family member to us. Word of mouth has been our greatest source of new clients through the years! You will love our knowledgeable, courteous staff, some of whom have been here for many years. Our team works well together to provide you a warm welcome and safe, diligent care for your best friends!

Halloween can be a lot for our cats—doorbells, costumes, visitors and a front door that keeps opening. Before the trick-or-treaters arrive:

🏠 Set up a quiet, comfortable room with everything they need.
🚪 Keep an extra-close eye on doors and windows.
🍫 Keep Halloween candy safely out of reach.
🕯️ Keep candles and jack-o’-lantern flames away from curious paws.
🪪 Make sure ID tags and microchip information are up to date.

And remember: your cat does not have to join the Halloween festivities. Sometimes the best party is a quiet room, a cozy bed and absolutely no tiny superheroes ringing the doorbell. 😂💙

After practicing veterinary medicine in California, Dr. Audrey has made her way back home to St. Louis to be closer to family. And here’s our favorite part—her family has been bringing their pets to MBF for years! 🥹💕

Now she’s joining us on the other side of the exam room!
