Let me tell you about my day yesterday. First off the old lady never fed me my breakfast. What the heck. Then she puts this rope (leash) around my neck and loads me onto the doggie van and we go to this place with lots of people and doggies and cats. Now things get a bit blurry….I think I was in a very weird dream. Next thing I know I’m being loaded on the doggie van again and heading back to my foster home. Old lady did her best to unload me with my wobbly legs. I just sprawled out on the ground for a bit. Then we made it inside and I finished taking a nap.
Boy I sure had some weird dreams.

I’m now spayed, microchipped and got my rabies vaccine. I get my last puppy shot September 5th. I’m ready for a home 🏡.

Molly did her little dance tap tap tap waiting to get her dinner. Scarfed up her kibble and was ready to take her last potty break. She will be asleep by dark. But up early in the morning to go hunting varmits.

Ummmmmm…..we’ve been up to all kinds of stuff. We are kennel trained now we don’t make any messes. But we do expect treats to go back in our kennel. We’re so lucky the old lady got Milkbone treats delivered thanks to some of our followers. THANK YOU!
A lot of times the old lady will throw a couple biscuits outside so we do go out the door and don’t jump around everywhere 😂 acting silly.
We go Monday for our spays, rabies vaccine and microchip. Old lady said we will do just fine. She not looking forward to us wearing those cones of shame….We will be fine. We will be fine.

Yeah, I trusted you last night but….you knew better than me it was going to be a full moon and an eclipse as well. Yup it was after dark and I should have known better. Made me feel like “that nut didn’t fall far from the tree” 😂
Even Millie couldn’t convince Moima Callie to come inside. So……I put out fresh water and called it a night. Of course she was running some invaders near the property off with her determined bark. At least the temperatures were nice last night.

Well puppies will be puppies. 😳 I happened to drop the top off the water jug in Ivy’s kennel. “Drop it” didn’t work. I thought she ate it probably in one gulp. I couldn’t see it in the bottom of her kennel.
Good grief…that plastic top isn’t going to pass. Maybe I’ve watched too much Dr Jeff and seen some of the weird stuff they pull out of intestines or stomachs.
AND THEN….when I went to let them out after breakfast…..there is was the top! Laying there just outside her kennel. Chewed up a bit but intact!
Thank you Jesus, exploratory avoided.

Millie’s journey has been a fairly long one. Arriving as a 9 week old pup in March of 2023 and then finding a home at 6 month old. But that didn’t work out for her and in July of 2024 she came back to us. She was so sad, broken down and very skinny.
Now 2 years later she’s still with us hoping for a furever home. She is on the shy side and takes her time to warm up to other people and pets.
But she loves Momma Callie because she’s grown up with her here at the dog house. I’m grateful she has a playmate here.
