Earthwise Pet has a specialized assortment of healthy natural pet foods and treats as well as an array of holistic remedies and other supplies.

We are a family owned business and we strive to provide the best selections of natural pet foods and treats. The Munchies team spends each day helping customers make educated decisions for their pets. Munchies has provided this expertise to their customers since 2000 at the Oldsmar location and has expanded to meet a growing clientele. As of August 2012, Munchies opened a location in Belleair Bluffs, Florida, and we opened a third location in Wesley Chapel (at the Publix plaza next to Wiregrass Mall) in September of 2015. Our mission is to keep pets healthy and happy!

Looking beyond “one-size-fits-all” nutrition?

One of the reasons we continue to carry and recommend is that they offer a variety of veterinarian-formulated diets designed to support some of the most common nutritional challenges pet parents face.

From sensitive stomachs and food sensitivities to joint support, reduced-fat nutrition, and specialized low-phosphorus formulas, SquarePet’s VFS (Veterinarian Formulated Solutions) line was created to provide targeted nutritional support while still using high-quality ingredients.

Some of the SquarePet formulas you’ll now find in our store include:
✨ Ideal Digestion — formulated to support digestive health and sensitive stomachs
✨ Skin & Digestive Support — a hydrolyzed protein formula for dogs with food sensitivities and ingredient intolerances
✨ Active Joints — targeted nutrition with natural sources of glucosamine, chondroitin, omega-3s, and joint-supportive ingredients
✨ Low Fat Formula — designed for dogs requiring reduced-fat diets
✨ Low Phosphorus Formula — formulated for dogs whose veterinarians have recommended phosphorus restriction

We also now carry select SquarePet wet foods and treats, making it easier to support your dog’s individual needs while adding variety to mealtime. 🐶🥣

One thing many pet parents appreciate about SquarePet is that several of their specialized formulas are available over the counter, without requiring a prescription, while still being developed by veterinary professionals and nutrition experts.

Every dog is unique, and nutrition isn’t always one-size-fits-all. If your dog has digestive concerns, food sensitivities, mobility concerns, or other dietary considerations, stop by and chat with our team. We’d be happy to help you explore options and determine whether a SquarePet formula may be a good fit for your pet. 💚🐾

June is National Microchipping Month! 🐾

As much as we all hope it never happens, pets can slip out a door, escape a fence, or become separated from their families during travel, storms, or emergencies. That’s why microchipping is one of the simplest and most important steps you can take to protect your pet.

A collar and tag are important, but collars can break or come off. A microchip provides permanent identification that stays with your pet for life and can help shelters, veterinarians, and animal control reunite lost pets with their families.

Did you know that microchipped pets are more than twice as likely to be reunited with their owners? 🐶🐱

Microchipping is quick, safe, and provides invaluable peace of mind. If your pet is already microchipped, National Microchipping Month is also a great reminder to log in and make sure your contact information is current and up to date.

A few minutes today could make all the difference if your pet is ever lost.

Is your pet microchipped? Let us know about your microchip experience with your pet in the comments!
