FREE i-TECH aquarium (read completely because I'm not answering questions)
There was only a handful of these built back in the days of i-TECH. Designed and built to the exacting specifications of your lovable neighborhood FISHNAZI.
Approximately 72"Lx 26"(33")Wx 24"H = 200 gallons-ish.
3/4" cellcast acrylic material on every panel, including top and bottom (Rohm&Haas, not cheap Mexiplex).
Every joint is held together with Weld-On 40 catalytic cement (NO solvent welds).
60"x 6" exterior trough overflow with three holes for 2" bulkheads.
Custom cut-outs to allow for the use and service of two Tunze WaveBox ( sorry WaveBox not included, honestly, I would've kept them anyway).
This tank was designed and built for serious crashing FLOW from two Tunze Wavebox and to be quiet while doing so.
38.5" tall stand and 16" tall canopy were made by R&J Enterprises and need some cosmetic and structural TLC.
Yes, it is currently a mess. Still has 100+ lbs of Hawaiian black sand inside it.
Yes, I'm sure the acrylic viewing panels need to be resurfaced.
Yes, the stand and canopy need work.
Yes, it holds water, and the joints are beautiful.
Yes, you will need MUCH lifting assistance to move this tank.
YES, the work will be worth the troubles.
I'm old with many current projects and little help. There isn't enough time for me to make this gem shine again.
It is yours, FREE. Come pick it up at the shop ASAP.
All pertinent information is contained within this post and on this page. I won't be able to hold this for you. The tank, stand, and canopy are sitting outside under the awning, waiting for pickup. First to show up gets the prize.
