This girl loves attention, but she’s not too interested in sharing the spotlight. Arugula would prefer to be the only pet in her forever home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. 💚

Everyone, meet Bandit!

After all the attention this handsome man got yesterday during our adventure at Conant’s Orchard, we figured it was about time to give him a proper introduction AND show off his adorable adventure photos one more time!

Six years old, ridiculously handsome, and a certified gentleman. Honestly, we’re not sure how this guy is still single!

Bandit is the kind of boy who makes friends just about everywhere he goes. People? LOVES them. Other dogs? Big fan! Cats? We think he might be able to make that friendship work, too!

And while Bandit is quite the gentleman, don’t let that fool you. Once he’s comfortable, his goofy personality comes out, and this guy knows how to keep things entertaining!

He’s a big fan of walks, treats, and making new friends. He’s even met a few DONKEYS during his time with us! Naturally, he had to give them a thorough sniff inspection because what exactly are those giant, long-eared creatures?!

Bandit is ready to trade shelter life for a forever home! He’s sweet, social, silly, and looking for someone to share his adventures (and preferably a few snacks) with.

The dogs took over Conant’s Orchard today! 🍎🐶

And the best part? For the first time, we were able to bring ALL of our currently adoptable dogs out for an adventure! ❤️

Our pups had an absolutely fantastic time exploring the orchard, meeting new friends, soaking up the attention, and, of course, enjoying some well-deserved pup cups! 🐾

Now, here’s the scoop on our crew!

Some of our dogs are ready to pack their bags and head straight to their forever homes! Others are looking for foster-to-adopt families while they wait for upcoming veterinary appointments.

We’ve got a little bit of everything when it comes to personalities, too! Some of our pups have a few extra requirements for their future families, while others aren’t too picky about who takes them home, as long as the love (and treats) keep coming! 😂❤️

A HUGE thank you to Conant’s Orchard for welcoming our crew and to everyone who stopped by to say hello, give some pets, and show our dogs a little love!

Carmichael would like to let everyone know that we are experiencing technical difficulties today and we don’t have access to our phones or internet. We are more than happy to have you all stop in and meet our available animals but unfortunately we will not be able to process digital payments or adoptions at this time.

Tiramisu wanted to let everyone know that our food shelves are getting dangerously close to empty! And as someone who takes her meals VERY seriously, she finds this quite concerning.

We're currently in need of both wet and dry kitten and adult cat food to help keep all our hungry little mouths fed! We could also use more dog enrichment toys as well as dog food!

With so many kitties in our care, we go through food quickly, and every bag or can donated makes a huge difference. ❤️

If you're able to grab an extra bag or a few cans during your next shopping trip, Tiramisu and all her feline friends would be incredibly grateful!

We wanted to let our community know that the Maine Humane Society is hosting a cat spay and neuter clinic in Carmel, Maine, on Monday, October 26th ❤️
