WHAT'S IS A BEHAVIOR CONSULTATION? A consultation is a full behavior focused assessment of the dog in front of you, the people they live with, and the environment they are trying to navigate.
During the consultation, we look at what is actually happening, not just the behavior label. We discuss your dogās daily routine, triggers, stress patterns, impulse control, recovery time, handling, leash skills, household dynamics, equipment, reinforcement, and how your dog communicates.
A large part of every consultation is understanding canine preferences for better communication. Dogs are constantly giving us information through their choices, avoidance, engagement, hesitation, play style, food interest, social interest, and comfort in different environments. When we understand what your dog prefers, what they avoids, and what helps them feel safe enough to participate, training becomes clearer and more effective.
You will leave with practical recommendations, management strategies, training priorities, and a better understanding of how to support a calmer, more responsive dog.
For many families, one consultation is enough to create meaningful change. For others, it becomes the foundation for a more complete training plan.
