These problems can be frustrating, but rest assured, your dog isn't trying to be spiteful or get back at you for leaving them. They're anxious and trying to cope with their emotions.

There’s no such thing as a breed that can’t learn through positive reinforcement.

You absolutely *can* build reliable behavior with any breed without using pain, pressure, leash jerks, zaps, vibrations, stims, or startles. No matter what anyone may have told you.

Some trainers still rely on punishment because that’s what they were taught, not because behavior science shows it’s necessary. Animals of countless species are trained every day in zoos and aquariums using positive reinforcement to do incredibly complex behaviors. Because the science of learning applies across all species. Your dog isn’t the exception.

Dogs need to chew. It helps them self-soothe, relieve stress, and prevent boredom.
