Poor Prune appears to have been left outside, and sadly, no one ever came to reclaim her. Despite everything she has been through, Prune remains a gentle, affectionate girl who enjoys attention and is ready to spend her golden years in the comfort of a loving home.

Drum Roll Please....After spending more than a year and a half at the Old Bridge Animal Shelter, Kitty Girl has finally found the loving family she had been waiting so patiently for! Kitty Girl packed her bags and headed home with a family who saw just how wonderful she is and opened their hearts to her.

Stories like Kitty Girl's remind us that sometimes the perfect match takes time. We are so grateful to her new family for giving this deserving girl the happy ending she has been dreaming of.

Meet Ozzy! 🐾

This adorable little Poodle mix is as sweet as they come! This boy loves being close to people, enjoys gentle affection, and has a charming personality that quickly wins hearts. Whether it's going for a walk, or simply following you around the house, this little companion is happiest when spending time with their favorite humans.

🔴Like many dogs, Ozzy has a few things he is still working on. He can be protective of favorite resting spots such as beds and couches and may not enjoy being moved once he has settled in. Because of this, Ozzy would do best with an adopter who understands canine behavior and is willing to provide clear boundaries and positive reinforcement training. Providing their own cozy bed and helping them learn that people approaching their resting areas is a positive experience will go a long way toward building confidence.

Due to his guarding behavior, Ozzy will not be adopted to a home with children.

Despite his challenges, Ozzy is a loving, loyal dog with so much affection to give. With patience, consistency, and understanding, this sweet pup will make a wonderful companion for the right home.

🐾 Adoption Update: Serenity 🐾

When Serenity arrived at the Old Bridge Animal Shelter, she was an older kitten who had spent her entire young life outdoors. Understandably, she was very nervous around people and unsure of the world around her.

Thankfully, Candace saw past Serenity's tough exterior and took a chance on this feisty girl. With patience, love, and understanding, Serenity has blossomed into a much more confident cat. We're thrilled to report that she now enjoys pets and rewards her family with happy purrs!

Stories like Serenity's remind us that not every shelter cat is perfect from the start. Some need a little extra time, patience, and compassion to show their true selves. The reward for giving them that chance can be truly incredible.

We hope Serenity's success story inspires others to open their hearts to the shy, fearful, and overlooked cats waiting in shelters. Sometimes, the ones who need us the most become the most loving companions of all. ❤️

🐾💕 Kimber & R***r: Two Tiny Survivors Looking for Their Forever Home 💕🐾

Before Kimber and R***r were old enough to understand how difficult the world could be, they experienced a tragedy no kitten should ever face.

At just 3 weeks old, these precious siblings were found huddled together inside the wheel well of a car, desperately seeking safety. Nearby, their mother had been struck and killed by a vehicle. Orphaned and alone, Kimber and R***r crawled into the only shelter they could find while their siblings remained beside their mother on the side of the road.

Today, at 8 weeks old, these resilient little survivors are thriving.

They play together, nap together, explore together, and find comfort in each other's presence. When the world feels big and unfamiliar, they can always count on one another.

💙 R***r is playful, affectionate, and always looking for his next adventure.

After their heartbreaking start, we promised these babies that their story wouldn't end in loss. We promised them a future filled with warm beds, full bellies, sunny windows, and a family who will love them for the rest of their lives.

These sweet boys have had quite a journey. Hudson and Harrison have been lovingly cared for in a foster home since they were just 3 weeks old after their mother was sadly found deceased. Thanks to the dedication of their foster family, they have grown into happy, healthy, playful kittens and are now ready to find a family of their own. While Hudson and Harrison have been together since they were just 3 weeks old and we would love to see them find a home together, we understand that may not be possible for every family.
