I am super happy to share with everyone that Skyler Moore had her first horseback riding lesson at 3B Horsemanship! She did really well, you would never guess she is legally blind. She is working towards a goal of riding independently and today we started our first step to achieving that goal. God is good!

My first ride on River and we started with standing after being mounted instead of walking off. She is also learning to follow her nose with softness and be soft around my leg, opening up her rib cage and relaxing. We also started working on moving off leg pressure. She is so willing and a quick learner.

River and I worked on relaxing and focusing on me while it was pouring rain yesterday. (Turn up your sound, yes that is rain hitting the roof!) 😳

So thankful for a dry place to train horses on a not so desirable day. God is good!
