May 1, 2026 Honey Lee Ranch is located in the very heart of the Oklahoma City Metro - 180 acres of secluded trails with two trail heads that take you to the North Canadian River. Wildlife lovers could very well see wild hogs, deer, coyotes, bobcats and beavers. Honey Lee Ranch is also a bird lover's paradise with abundant hawks,

cranes, owls and visits from several bald eagles. Miles of winding trails through the woods and on the soft, sandy surface of the Canadian River bed. One Hour Guided Trail Rides on our horses on Thursday through Sunday:
$40 each for ages 6-12. $45 each for ages 13 and up. All rides are guided by our professional staff. (Guided Trail Rides are closed Monday Tuesday Wednesday)

Ride the trails on your own horse from dawn to dusk.
$5.00 per rider on your personal horse. This is NOT the price for a Guided Trail Ride on our ranch horses. Horses need not be shod for our trails. A negative Coggins test is required for all horses. Contact us at (405) 204-3490. Email us at [email protected]

Located just north of NE 63rd and North Douglas Boulevard in Oklahoma City. Come ride with us at the Honey Lee Ranch!!!

As word spreads and the retirement of Honey Lee Ranch comes to a close, Gregory and Blake made the bittersweet trip to bring a couple of our boys home.

Rocky and Cracker Barrel have been out there doing what they love—hitting the trails, carrying riders, and being part of something special during Honey Lee’s final chapter. It was a tough one loading them up, knowing an era is coming to an end. Those horses didn’t just work there… they were part of the story.

While it’s sad to bring them home, retirement like this is something to be proud of. A life well lived, miles well ridden, and a legacy that won’t be forgotten. Now they’re back home at Silver Wind Trail Rides—a little wiser, a little more seasoned, and ready for whatever comes next.

Keith and Jeanne—thank you for everything you poured into that place. Wishing you both a well-earned retirement and all the happy trails ahead.

One of our best trail horses in our Guided Rides is ready for new home. He’s leased and his owner asked me to start looking for a new zip code. 10 years old. Chestnut Arab gelding. 16 hands. He’s quiet, calm, and he can walk out all day. Currently he’s working 3 days a week - three trail rides a day that are 90 minutes long and cover about 4 to 5 miles. 12 to 15 miles a day easy peasy. Crosses water. Not watchy or spooky. If I had to count, I’d say he’s worked at least 200 trail rides, packing beginners, especially kids. For those of us that trailer a horse out twice a month to trail ride- that equals 4 years of experience. His only flaw is his strict judgment of riders: if he determines you cannot ride a stick horse, he will active his Safety System and refuse to walk unless a more experienced person tells him to Walk On. He’s a hoot and a half. He’s handsome and kind. Very gentle. Gets along with other horses very well. In the first photo- he’s the gelding on the right. Ridden in a side pull. Before he arrived here he was shown lightly in rail classes. Owner asking 7🥕 Come and ride him !
*** Two lovely TB mares will be available for adoption to experienced riders very soon. Contact me for more information.
