Way to go Autumn! Standing on the board elevated in the front takes a lot of balance and muscle strength. Good job little girl!

**Update** Bill and Howie have found a wonderful foster through the Oklahoma Lab Rescue, we are so happy they can stay together.

We wanted to take a minute and say a special thanks and a prayer for John Steed who passed away on June 26th. John had been a client here since April of 2019. He had fostered many hospice labs through Oklahoma Lab Rescue. He was a kind and loving guy who dedicated his life to the dogs in his care. We can’t imagine what might have happened had he not been involved in those dog’s senior years. Now, John’s dogs need our help. He left behind Howie, a 14-year-old Lab and Bill, a 12-year-old Akbash mix. Two of the sweetest dogs. With no family that can take them, we are asking our community of dog lovers to ask everyone they know if they could foster both dogs together until the Lab rescue can find a foster for them. Please reach out to us at [email protected] if anyone has any questions or can help. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for his family and a big thank you to all of the people like John out there doing what seems to be the impossible.

We wanted to introduce everyone to the latest Free To Live Animal Sanctuary dogs that we are working with. Please meet Tiger and Tesla.

Tiger has been coming to see us since March of 2026, he is a 12 year old, ever so sweet ball addict. Tiger is coming in to see us to help with his hind end arthritis and he loves to swim and play fetch. He has been with Free to Live for over 7 years now and we would LOVE to see him get another furever home. He is such a joy to be around.

Tesla has been coming to see us since August of 2025 for ACL surgery recovery. She is a 10 year ball of fun and is wonderful with people, but needs time with other dogs. We would love to see her get another furever home also. She is onery, but really enjoys being the center of attention.

Thank you to all who have been donating for helping these sweeties get their much needed therapy swims.

Woo hoo - look at that little Dachshund Autumn chasing our dogs around in the playroom! IVDD, 2 back surgeries and one neck surgery is not holding her back one bit. Go little girl-go! P.S. she is one amazing little swimmer also. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/17HYdh5MeX/

Everyone knows that we have the greatest jobs ever except on days like today. Today we have to say good bye to Charlie. This will be his last swim before he passes over the Rainbow Bridge. We have really grown to love Charlie. His personality and his senior disposition are what makes our job so great. Please say a prayer for him and his parents as they go through these tough days that we all know so well. He will be missed.

What a great way to start off a morning. A big thank you to a great group of staff at Iris Memory Care - NW OKC for helping to make this happen. Thank you Voyages of Cosmo for all of the entertainment. Hopefully we can do this again real soon.
