🍩 Happy National Donut Day! 🍩

We put the Classen View Crew on the spot and asked one very important question:

What's your all-time favorite donut?

Some answers were exactly what we'd expect, while others surprised us! 😄

You know our team loves caring for pets, but today we're talking about something a little less furry. From classic glazed to specialty creations, everyone has a favorite, and there's nothing like the perfect donut to help kick off an early morning at the clinic!

Now it's your turn:

🍩 What's your favorite donut?

And for an extra challenge... if your pet could pick a donut flavor, what do you think they'd choose? 👇🐶🐱

Eloise clearly takes her responsibilities very seriously… including making sure her bill gets paid after her wellness visit.

After stopping by the front desk for checkout, she was all smiles and tail wags! We loved seeing this sweet girl and helping keep her healthy, happy, and ready for summer adventures. ☀️

Friendly reminder from Eloise: wellness visits are a great time to stay ahead on preventive care, ask questions, and make sure your pet is ready for the warmer months ahead!

📸 Drop a photo below if your pet also thinks the front desk is the best place for treats and attention. 👇💬

Meet one very lucky little guy. 🐾❤️

This sweet kitten was found by his humans just a few days ago and came in to see us for his very first vet visit! Here he is with Carl soaking up all the fun during his visit. The good news? He’s a healthy boy, officially cleared for his new adventures, and has already found his furever home. 🏡🐱

Those first kitten visits are so important because they help set the foundation for a healthy life. Early veterinary care allows us to:

🐾 Check overall growth and development
🐾 Start vaccines and parasite prevention
🐾 Screen for common kitten illnesses
🐾 Answer questions about nutrition and behavior
🐾 Help kittens build positive, low-stress experiences at the vet from the very beginning

Now there’s just one important thing left… he still needs a name!

💬 If you could name this cutie, what would you call him? Drop your best ideas below ⬇️

Bean recently stayed with us and soaked up all the cuddles, comfy blankets, and personalized care during his boarding visit. ❤️

As a reminder, our clinic will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. While we will not offer boarding drop-off or pick-up times on the holiday, our team will still be here caring for and checking on all boarding pets throughout the day.

We’re so thankful for your understanding as our team takes time to be with their loved ones while still making sure pets like Bean feel safe, loved, and comfortable during their stay.

If your pet needs medication refills before the holiday weekend, please plan ahead and submit requests early.

Whether it’s a first visit or a familiar stay, we love getting to know each pet and making them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for every step of the way

Boarding with a team that already knows your pet means:

• Medical care if anything comes up
• Staying up to date on vaccines & wellness

Buddy’s settled in, and Theodora is off to a great start! We’d say it’s a pretty good day around here.

Canine influenza (dog flu) is highly contagious, especially in places where dogs gather, such as boarding, daycare, grooming, or even the park. As your family starts preparing for summer trips or spending time outside at a dog park, be sure to protect your pet companions.

Why we recommend the flu vaccine + boosters:
🐾 Helps protect against a fast-spreading respiratory illness
🐾 Reduces severity if your dog is exposed
🐾 Important for social dogs or those who board
🐾 Boosters keep that protection strong over time

Most dogs don’t show severe signs right away, but it can quickly turn into coughing, fever, and pneumonia in some cases.

Annie’s staying protected and ready for whatever adventures come next 💙

Julie helped Rumble and Mingo feel right at home during their first visit with Dr. Clark! Their family brought them in for a checkup and to learn more about keeping their bunnies happy and healthy, and we love being part of that journey.

Did you know? 🐰👇
• Rabbits should eat mostly hay (about 80–90% of their diet!) to keep their teeth and digestion healthy
• Fresh leafy greens should be part of their daily routine (like romaine, cilantro, parsley)
• Pellets are not the main food, just a small portion
• Carrots and treats are occasional only (more like candy for them!)
• Their teeth never stop growing—regular checkups are important
• Bunnies can hide illness well, so subtle changes matter

Starting care early helps set your bunny up for a long, healthy life 💚

Those tiny smiles need big protection, especially for small-breed pups like Dexter and Mr. Boomer. Both of these cuties were in recently for their annual professional dental cleaning!

Smaller dogs are more prone to dental disease, and it can progress quickly if left untreated. Their teeth are more crowded, which means plaque and tartar have an easier time building up below the surface where we can’t see it.

Here’s why dental care matters:
🦷 Can begin as early as age 3
🦷 Hidden infections can be painful, even if they’re still eating
🦷 Bacteria can impact the heart, liver, and kidneys
🦷 Small breeds are at higher risk for early tooth loss

During every dental, your pet is never alone. From pre-anesthetic checks to recovery, a trained team member is always by their side, monitoring, comforting, and keeping them safe.

Because it’s not just about clean teeth. It’s about their overall health.

Protect their smile and their overall health. Call to schedule your pet’s dental today 📞 (405) 525-8868
