The Animal Rescue League of Boston’s Spay Waggin’ will once again be in Fall River to spay/neuter cats and dogs as part of an ongoing collaborative effort with ARL, the Massachusetts Animal Fund, and Fall River Animal Control. The voucher day will take place June 4th by appointment only. This

He is a 3.5-year-old 50lb Siberian Husky, and just the most beautiful silver color! He loves people, treats, playing ball and fetch, and other dogs! Older kids are best for Silver, as he does a bit of resource guarding. He LOVES other dogs and would thrive in a Doggie Daycare situation or with a few dog buddies!!

He is currently being fostered by our friends at Red Dog Inn and Resort!
Silver would love to decompress in a foster home, so even if you can’t adopt right now and would consider welcoming a playful Husky boy into your family until he finds his forever home, we would LOVE that, and it will 100% help him get adopted!

Nice to meet you! I’m Paige! ❤️💚
I am available for adoption through The Abandoned Dogs of RI!

From the rescue..
Paige (a Redbone Coonhound mix) has been with the rescue for a while! It’s not because she doesn’t deserve a home but because she lacks shares. Maybe Paige can get a forever home in time for Christmas!!!

Paige is 3:5 years old and fully vetted/healthy. She is INCREDIBLY smart! She picks up on training quickly and is eager to learn. She will need ongoing training, as she does have a habit of jumping up at folks. True to her breed, Paige is very observant and notices everything.. and she will let you know! She is super food motivated and would do well with nose work and regular training. She definitely needs to be able to use her brain! Paige is fantastic on leash-- though, she can be very barky and reactive towards other dogs, but will settle down.

Paige would make an excellent hiking partner and would do best in an active home. She has gone on many field trips to Heritage and Pulaski Park. She absolutely LOVES the water and wants to be shoulders deep in it! 😄

Our volunteer, Donna, has taken Paige home several times and cannot say enough about her! She's even met Donna's 92 year old mother and was a very polite gal.

Paige is a great dog who needs someone to give her a chance and set clear boundaries with her. She is a working dog breed and needs to be able to use her brain to be a happy gal.

Plus she looks super cute in her Jammies!

Meet Spartacus, also known as Spotty! 🐾🎄
He is available for adoption right now, through Vintage Pet Rescue!
This 13-year-old Boston Terrier may be small in size, weighing only 20 pounds, but he has a big heart. Spartacus is completely blind due to mature cataracts, but that doesn't stop him from living life to the fullest.

Spartacus is an independent and quiet boy who thrives in a safe and secure environment. He will need a patient and understanding owner who can provide him with the love and care he deserves. While he gets along well with other dogs, he would do best in a home with low-energy dogs who won't accidentally knock him over or startle him. Spartacus doesn’t mind being in a crate or a pen and just loves to cuddle in a cozy bed.

Due to his blindness, Spartacus startles easily and is not fond of being picked up at the moment. However, with time and a loving home, it is hoped that he will become more comfortable and trusting. His eyes may bulge, but his eye pressures are within normal range. It is recommended to administer eye drops once daily if possible to maintain his eye health.

Spartacus is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and recently had full blood work. His teeth look great for his age.

This sweet & loyal girl is about 7 years old
She's not always super affectionate upon first meeting someone, but once she bonds with you, she'll dish out the kisses, ask for belly rubs and cuddle!!

She arrived with her sister who she loved to play outdoors with. Her sister has found her forever home and Roxy is ready for her turn!

Roxy is house-trained and crate trained.

She loves going on walks where she can sniff everything she possibly can and work on all of the commands that she knows.

Roxy knows how to sit, lay down, stay, heel, come, and place. Roxy went to training classes because she is an insecure girl who would express her insecurities by reacting (barking at other dogs, especially smaller ones). She knows now that she can trust her confident person to give her guidance and work through the commands she knows, rather than bark. Roxy is very smart, learns quickly and is ready for her forever home. She also knows fun commands like sit pretty and roll over.

Her new family will understand that they are adopting a sweet, lovely, fully trained dog but will also respect that Roxy needs to continue her training so she continues on this path to success!
