🫶🏽 HCM SCANNED & CLEAR! 🫶🏽

This is one of the extra steps we take for our Sphynx breeding program. Our breeding cats receive echocardiograms through veterinary cardiology to screen for HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy), a heart disease seen in Sphynx and other cats.

We start by taking our cats for routine checks to confirm no heart murmur and then a final diagnosis of NORMAL ECHOCARDIOGRAM.❤️ (HCM SCAN)

We make the trip to Kansas for specialized cardiac screening because healthy parents are an important part of producing healthy kittens. No breeder can promise that HCM will never develop, but routine scanning of breeding adults is one of the most important tools we use to reduce risk and make responsible breeding decisions.

But no fault of our own, this little girl is now on the hunt for her purrrfect family. She was set to meet her family last weekend: so she is already fully vetted with a clear bill of health, spayed and looking for her forever family.
