Just a quick check in. I had my third pet scan yesterday. THERE WAS NO SIGNS OF cancer. 💃
I have not spoke with my Oncologist, yet, but I think that means, is remission, to the doctor... But what I like to call it, is healed! 😁🙏🫶 🎉💖🌈😊

This next appointment is...
A big deal to me. The doctor is going to decide if I have to have the last chemo treatment. What I've learned from treatment, it's like a marathon. There's a point where you kinda get stuck and you're not real sure if you can get to the finish line. You gotta fight to stay out of your head. Anyways, if you could say a prayer or just send good vibes my way, I will appreciate it. Ty!💕

Translation: The areas that used to “light up” (indicating active cancer cells) are now showing no signs of abnormal activity.

Your left breast tumor and the lymph node in your left armpit (axilla) have responded very well to chemo.

🦴 2. Bone Marrow Activity

"Diffusely increased bone marrow activity...commonly associated with reaction to chemotherapy or response to marrow stimulating agents."

This is not a sign of cancer — it’s a typical and expected response after chemo, or from the injection you get after chemo (like Neulasta or similar), which helps your white blood cells recover.

Because your bone marrow is reacting to treatment, it makes it harder to evaluate the bones clearly for spread (metastasis), but no new suspicious activity is seen.

🧠 3. Head, Neck, and Brain

"No definite focal abnormal FDG activity"

Translation: Nothing abnormal seen in the brain or neck area — all clear.

On the 17th day of treatment you start losing your hair. So it's time to get it cut off. Thank you Rhonda from Bedlam Barbershop for helping me though this transition. Lol the only other time I had short hair was when my mom threatened me when I was little. She told me she would cut my hair if I didn't brush it. She ended up cutting it. 😁 and I started taking care of my hair after that.

After much consideration, I have decided to discontinue Dog grooming. I have met so many amazing people throughout the year and Dogs. Everyone has been so amazing to me and I will be forever grateful. You made it possible for me to have a job were I could work from home, help support my kids and husband. There really isn't anything like perfecting a skill and working for yourself. Big thank you to everyone that has given me a massive tip. You know how you are. To anyone that has given me gifts at christmas time or birthdays. Thank you for cards that you have given me. For your prayers and support. For the text message to check on me and make sure I'm okay. Massive thank you to Kevin four constructing my tub for the dogs. I can honestly say I have met the best of people. Last but not least, to all your Fur Babies. I have had so much fun working with your kiddos. I can not tell you how many time I have laughed.

I'm not sure exactly what this next chapter after treatment is going to bring but I am excited for it. I have thoughts about selling home and auto insurance as a broker. I've thought about real estate. I've even thought about refurbishing old campers.. or maybe helping my husband with his business as a health insurance broker. If I was completely retired, I would probably be a camp host at a epic campground in a national forest. 🦅🐿🦉 either way, I have time to come up with it while I'm recovering. It's definitely time to dream big.

Happy Sunday everyone!
It is a beautiful this morning. I had my 1st round of chemo Thursday morning. I woke up today with good energy. I can definitely feel all the good prayers that has been said for me. I have a lont of gratitude for everyone of them. Thank you so very much! You all are the very best! ❤️

Good morning everyone!
Today is going to be a great day! Yesterday was tuff for me on a personal level. The reason is that they upgraded me to stage four cancer. I have a spot on my spine. Hearing this made me go directly into my fight or Flight mode.

Which is part of the sympathetic nervous system.

What happens to you when this system kicks in Is that all of the chemicals your body starts producing, is to help you run from a bear. It narrows your focus on danger. I definitely felt it. Lol my head got hot. My heart rate changed
I had to take deep breaths. On the car ride home, I couldn't think. I just sat there in silence as my husband drove us home. BUT THAT WAS YESTERDAY.

Today it's time for me to gather myself. To become the person that I am meant to be. I heard it said that it didn't matter that you get knocked down, it just matters how you get up. This is what I am going to work on.

I'm going to spend some time with my family and enjoy mother's day with my son and husband.

Be loving and kind to everyone that you see ❤️ even if it's hard to do it.
