I have been asked how to support the rescue during my recovery. I have attached my Venmo account below, but if someone prefers a check or money order made payable to Raven's Rescue, please text me and I'll send my mailing address. Thans to everyone for all the prayers, grocery deliveries and wonderful prepared food being delivered. I had a front porch ramp installed over the last couple of days and hope to be able to t least get outside some. Losing my mind being stuck in the house.

Update on ankle...can't walk on it for 6-8 weeks. If the ankle doesn't move, no surgery. They will look at it again this coming Thursday. Having a ramp installed on my front porch. The thought of not being able to go out of my house for 6-8 weeks is unimaginable. Thanks to my grandson, Trevor and to Alyssa Fisher and Sherman Effinger. They are all coming everyday morning and evening and taking care of all my animals that are here in rescue.

No good deed goes unpunished...LOL...while rescuing a puppy on Wednesday, I slid down my new yard angle that the city did when they put in my new sidewalk and broke my right distal fibula at the ankle. Much thanks to the friends and volunteers that have stepped up to help with my rescue and help me. Took my first ride ever in an ambulance to the ER and now waiting to see the ortho specialist next Thursday. Prayers that I don't require surgery and just need to be casted until it heals.

Maple is being surrendered by her owner. She is a three year old Golden Doodle. Unfortunately, she suffers from seizures and is on medication that cost about $120.00 per month. She is a very sweet girl and while she is kennel trained she is OK to be out loose in the home. She is leash and house trained. She is available for re-homing with no adoption fee.

Met Venus' owner Landon at Braums on N. Classen. Landon is a 15-year-old homeless boy that is living in a tent near Lake Hefner. Took Venus home with me yesterday and dropped Landon back at the bus station, his request. He can ride the bus for free because he is a minor. Venus is approximately three months old. I got her first DHPP vaccine yesterday, wormed and treated for fleas. I met Landon back at the bus station today and returned his puppy to him with instructions that he needs to call me in four weeks to get her second DHPP, rabies, worming and hopefully have her spayed at the same time. I put one of my metal IDs on her collar that has my phone number so Landon will have a way to contact me. Asking for prayers for Landon and his puppy. Also, asking for guidance on how to help him. Wanted to bring him home with me!
