Mutt Misfits Animal Rescue Society We're a nonprofit foster home based rescue, focused on major medical cases, seniors, and neonates in OKC. It is our goal to save the un-savable.

Mutt Misfits exists to help unwanted animals in situations that could lead to harm or euthanasia in. We primarily focus on animals with major medical illnesses, injuries, or advanced age that are often overlooked. By partnering with shelters and the public, we promote responsible pet ownership, spay and neuter, and the adoption of special needs pets. We are a foster-based rescue and rely on donations from our generous supporters to keep our rescue running. We appreciate any and all support that you are able to provide!

🥃 Who's ready for a shot of Bourbon? This little troublemaker is serving up puppy chaos with a side of kisses! 💙

Bourbon is a ridiculously cute 10 week old Pug, Yorkie, and Maltese mix with a fuzzy little face, a mischievous streak, and enough personality for a dog ten times his size!

This pint-sized firecracker and his brother Wh***ey found themselves needing new homes after their previous owner experienced some difficult circumstances. An unplanned litter and limited resources meant these boys needed a little help finding their happily ever after, and we're happy to give them that opportunity!

If you're looking for a calm, predictable puppy, Bourbon would like you to keep looking! 😂 This little guy is a tiny tornado of chaos, kisses, and questionable decisions. He goes from 0 to 100 in the blink of an eye, racing around with the zoomies until his battery finally runs out. Will he give you sweet puppy kisses? Maybe! Will he nibble your nose instead? Also maybe! With Bourbon, you never quite know what you're going to get, but you're guaranteed to be entertained!

Underneath all that puppy craziness is a little guy with a whole lifetime of love to give. He's looking for a family who understands that puppies are equal parts adorable and exhausting, and who will help him grow into the best little companion he can be.

Bourbon's first chapter may not have gone quite as planned, but his next one is full of possibilities. All he needs now is a family ready to embrace the chaos and love him through every adventure! 💙

🥃 Need a little Wh***ey in your life? This sweet boy is ready to be your new favorite cuddle buddy! 💚

Wh***ey is an adorable 10 week old Pug, Yorkie, and Maltese mix with a scruffy little face, big expressive eyes, and a personality that's just as sweet as he looks!

Wh***ey and his brother Bourbon came to Mutt Misfits after being surrendered by an owner who was facing difficult circumstances. Their previous owner was waiting for assistance with the cost of spaying and neutering, and these unexpected little ones needed a fresh start. Thankfully, they're now getting that chance!

Of the two brothers, Wh***ey is the quieter, more affectionate little gentleman. He's a professional cuddle bug who absolutely LOVES being close to his people! This little sweetheart will actually hug you right back and would choose snuggles over snacks every single time. His love language is YOU, and he's happiest when he's wrapped up in someone's arms.

Of course, Wh***ey is still a puppy, which means there's plenty of growing, learning, and puppy mischief ahead! He'll need a family ready to guide him through all those important milestones with patience, consistency, and lots of love.

Wh***ey may be tiny, but he's got a heart overflowing with love and enough sweetness to melt just about anyone. Now he just needs a family to cuddle, love, and call his very own! 💚

**A little older, a little slower, and looking for a whole lot of love! **

Meet Sexy Lady! This precious senior Dachshund is estimated to be around 10–12 years old, and she's hoping to find a special someone to spend her golden years with!

Sexy Lady is mostly blind, with just enough vision to distinguish light, darkness, and some movement. Because of her limited eyesight, navigating the world can be a little confusing for this sweet girl. Without a safe, familiar space, she tends to wander and can easily get lost, even inside the house!

But Sexy knows exactly what she likes in life! Delicious dinners, big stuffed toys, cozy afternoon naps, and most importantly, being close to her people! She's perfectly content curled up in your lap while you work or watch TV, and she loves a good nap on the bed with her favorite human.

Lady also does well in a crate and actually sleeps better in one! Having a secure, comfortable space helps keep her safe and gives her a place to relax without worrying about navigating her surroundings.

**We're looking for a very special forever home for this little lady.** Ideally, someone who works from home, is retired, or spends most of their time at home and can give Sexy the extra attention and supervision she needs. Because of her limited vision, she'll need a patient family willing to help her navigate safely and make sure she doesn't accidentally wander into danger.

Sexy Lady may not be able to see the world around her very well, but she still has so much love to give. She doesn't need grand adventures or a busy household. Just a safe place to land, a warm lap to curl up in, and someone who will love her through her golden years.

Tiny, rare, and ridiculously cute! 🧡

Pricilla Ann is a tiny orange and cream tabby girl, born around May 1, 2026, and she’s got one of those sweet little faces that’s pretty hard to resist!

Orange tabby girls are a little more unusual since the majority of orange cats are boys, making our little Pricilla Ann an extra special find. With her beautiful orange and cream coloring, big curious eyes, and petite little frame, she’s already got the looks covered!

At just 5 months old, Pricilla Ann is still in that wonderful kitten stage where there’s so much of life left to discover. A forever home means new places to explore, toys to investigate, cozy spots to claim as her own, and a family to grow up with.

🐾 TWO TINY PUPPIES NEED A SECOND CHANCE! 🐾

At just five weeks old, these two little Yorkie, Maltese, and Pug mixes had already endured more than any puppy should. They came from horrible living conditions, with hair loss and bellies full of worms. 💔 No puppy should have to start life this way.

Now, they’re getting a chance at a better future, but they need veterinary care to help them heal, grow, and get the healthy start every puppy deserves.

Six months of waiting. Athena is ready for her turn. 💕

For six months, Athena has been waiting for someone to choose her. In that time, this sweet gentle giant has grown from a timid puppy into a confident, loving girl who is SO ready for a forever home!

Athena is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. She LOVES to swim, is getting better at fetch, and is rarely far from her beloved stuffed armadillo. When she isn’t playing, her favorite place is right beside her people. She loves physical affection, gives plenty of kisses, and will happily bring you toys and little “gifts” when she’s excited to see you.

She does great with big dogs and is incredibly gentle with small dogs, and even the rats in her foster home! She’s comfortable hanging out with the crew or enjoying some quiet time on her own.

And this girl has been putting in the work while she waits! Athena is now fully potty trained, settles nicely in her kennel, and is trained on an invisible fence. Leash walking is still a work in progress, but she continues to learn and gain confidence.

Athena’s enormous paws may have gotten bigger over the last six months, but so has her personality. She’s sweet, silly, affectionate, and just wants a family of her own to love.

Six months is a long time to wait. We’d really love for Athena’s forever family to finally find her. ❤️
