Please celebrate safely, keep your pets safely inside and turn on the TV or music, and if you have a cookout, watch that those kiddos don't get your hotdogs and hamburgers, that can be harsh on their little bellies! Please be mindful of your neighbors ❤️ we love you and wish everyone a safe, happy Independence Day!

OKC ANIMAL CRISIS: Oklahoma City Animal Welfare is currently shut down for stray intakes because they took in more than 520 animals in an emergency rescue at a m**h house. Now the shelter DESPERATELY needs the public to come adopt the animals that were already there so they can care for the new animals 💔

The seized animals are NOT available for adoption or foster, but there’s no kennel space as you can see from this photo so they need to find homes for the dogs who ARE adoptable. And there are a bunch waiting for homes. 🐶🐕‍🦺🐾

Animals come spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Half of every adoption fee paid goes back to the spay/neuter fund for community pets!

The shelter also desperately needs donations of:
- Newspaper
- Blankets
- Towels
- Sheets & pillowcases

Every adoption, every foster, and every donation helps and makes room for another animal in need.
