Patty is still looking for her forever

🐾 Patty is waiting for someone to choose her. ❤️

Patty is 10 years old, and she has had her whole world turned upside down.

Her dad passed away, and Patty suddenly found herself without the only home she had ever known and the only human she had ever known. For 10 years, he was her person. Her safe place. Her family.

Now, Patty is boarding with us at Rock Knoll, and she is struggling. 💔 She doesn’t understand why her person is gone or why she no longer gets to go home with him.

Patty is a very shy girl. She needs time. She may not immediately come running to you or ask for attention. She needs to watch you, get comfortable, and learn that she is safe. But once she trusts you, she will come to you for loves, cuddles, and affection. ❤️

She just needs someone willing to be patient with her and let her go at her own pace.

And Patty has so much to offer. 🥹

🐶 She is good with big and small dogs
💉 She is current on her vaccines
❤️ She is spayed
🩺 She has tested negative for heartworm
📍 She is microchipped
👁️ She will be having surgery to remove the mass under her eye before adoption

Patty’s adoption fee is $150, and that entire fee goes directly into our Angel Fund, which helps provide medical care for animals whose owners cannot afford the treatment they desperately need.

So when you adopt Patty, you aren’t just changing her life. You’re helping us change the lives of other animals, too. ❤️

What Patty needs most right now isn’t anything fancy.

She needs a home.

She needs someone who understands that a 10-year-old dog who has lost everything may need a little extra time to feel safe again.

She needs someone who will look past the initial shyness and wait for the moment when she finally walks over, leans into you, and lets you love her.

Patty’s dad was the only human she ever knew. She deserves the chance to know that losing him doesn’t mean she has to spend the rest of her life without a family.

We want to let you know that one of our doctors will be out of the country for the next month. During this time, we will be operating with one doctor, so please keep this in mind when scheduling appointments and surgeries, as availability may be more limited than usual.
