Kricket is an indoor/outdoor cat who believes affection should be earned, requested in writing, and accepted strictly on her terms.
She is not cuddly.
She does not care about your feelings.
She wants what she wants, when she wants it, and honestly? We respect the confidence.

Happy Tails Update! 🧡🐾

Violet is officially living her best life in New Mexico! ✨

She has settled into her new home perfectly, where she now has a feline sibling to chase, play, and lounge with. Even better, she has found pet parents who absolutely adore her and make sure she knows just how loved she is every single day.

Stories like hers remind us why rescue matters. From waiting for her chance to finding a family of her own, this sweet girl has truly hit the jackpot. 💕

We couldn't be happier for her and her wonderful family. Here's to a lifetime of sunny windows, endless treats, playful adventures, and all the love a kitty could ever want.

🐱🐶❤️Who loves their pet?? Who would love a fun way to show off your favorite furry friends AND help animals in need? Throughout the month of JUNE all portrait orders (pets or people!) raise funds for We’re OK Foundation! The more orders we get the higher the percentage raised so our goal is 50 portraits ordered! Just three days ago, Earl took his freedom ride out of the shelter.

At 11 years old, blind, deaf, arthritic, and shut down, he had been scheduled to be euthanized. We knew he deserved better than ending his story alone in an overcrowded shelter. Thanks to an incredible foster, Earl spent his final days surrounded by love instead of fear.

After his veterinary exam and bloodwork, we learned that Earl was suffering from chronic kidney failure, which is unfortunately irreversible. He was also heartworm positive and had several other medical issues. Over the last 24 hours, his condition rapidly declined, and today we made the heartbreaking decision to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge peacefully.

Our hearts ache because we didn’t get more time.

But we take comfort in knowing that Earl’s last days were filled with compassion. He experienced a home. He experienced love. He experienced being someone’s dog. He got what he needed most at the end: comfort, dignity, and unconditional love.

Sometimes rescue isn’t about saving a life for years. Sometimes it’s about making sure a life ends the way it should, with kindness and helping them peacefully make their journey to the bridge.

Run free, sweet Earl. You mattered. You were loved. And you will not be forgotten ❤️‍🩹🌈🪽

Eloise has found her purrfect match and is settling beautifully into her forever home! ❤️ She now has kitty siblings to play with, explore with, and share sunny nap spots with. Most importantly, she has the most loving pet parents a kitty could ask for.

From rescue to forever loved, Eloise's journey has the happiest ending. We couldn't be more excited for this sweet girl as she begins her next chapter filled with cuddles, treats, and endless love.
