Jax is the only other male dog we recently rescued from the Amish puppy mill in December. He is a 4 year old Goldendoodle and (we believe) the daddy of Candy's puppies.

For all of Jax’s life so far, he has only known the life of a puppy mill stud dog. That means little to no positive human interaction, little to no time outside of his small run, and no socialization to the world around him. Our volunteers have been working hard to make sure he knows that life is now over and his interactions will now be all about the love and affection dogs are SUPPOSED to get from people!

Jax has been LOVING playing in the yard with his buddy Chip (another puppy mill rescue), and as with most puppy mill dogs, he must have another stable dog in his new home to show him the ropes and help him gain confidence.

We are learning about Jax everyday and as he is still considered a flight risk, he will need a home with a secure above ground fenced yard with direct access from the house and no children under 16 years old.

Jax's family MUST have the time and patience to work with him on socialization and training. Introducing him to new things will take time as it will not happen overnight, and it will take Jax some time to warm up and trust his people. As a young goldendoodle, he will also need plenty of good quality exercise and direction. We do not know if he is potty-trained, but he has not messed in his kennel run, and we do not know how he is with cats.

Our adorable girl Disney has it all. She's friendly to everyone she meets whether human or canine. At about 7 months old this doodle/terrier mix is playful and knows basic commands. She's eager to please and will fit into any home. Disney is a medium size dog at 40 pounds and would love to have an active canine companion in her new home.

Meet Nube!!

Nube is a male 4-month-old Sheepdog Poodle mix. He currently weighs 24 pounds and growing every day! He is crate trained and working on his potty training and basic commands. Nube is deaf, so his training and commands are through sign language.

This boy is social and very outgoing. He loves to run around the backyard, play with toys, and chase his foster brother. He loves the company of people and dogs and snuggles while sleeping.

Nube is a high energy puppy and would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can run and play safely since he is deaf. He gets along great with other dogs and would be a great fur sibling!

This handsome floof is just 5 months old, absolutely gorgeous, and searching for a special furever home. See, this whole "beloved family pet" is all new to Jason. Any potential adopter will need to have the time and patience to work with Jason on learning how this whole "dog" thing works. That includes working with him on house- and leash-training.

But once he warms up, Jason loves everyone he meets — fellow dogs, humans, and cats, too. He currently weighs approximately 25 pounds.

Get ready to fall in love with Buddy. He is a 7 month old Bichon-poo, roughly 20 pounds, who is a spunky pup with lots of kisses and love to give. Buddy has literally brightened up our lives watching him get comfortable in his own fur. Buddy loves to be a puppy and enjoys running around, playing with his toys, receiving treats when he successfully uses the potty pad, and is also quite smart. He learns quickly and is able to follow commands well but he is still learning.With that, he loves to be the center of attention and will gladly follow you all around the house and want to be right next to you. He can be a little shy at first but definitely warms up quickly especially when he gets some good old belly rubs. We are currently working on walking with a leash and having a blast jumping around in the snow. Buddy is the happiest when he's with his people and while he can be in a crate - he'd much rather go with you. Buddy likes to play games, especially hide and seek with socks or other particles of clothing that we leave in his reach. Buddy has not had much interaction with other cats or dogs but the few he has seen he didn't seem to mind that they were around. He has been great with adults as that is who he is mostly around and may need some patience to get to know small children as they would be new for him to learn. In a couple weeks, Buddy will be going to the vet and getting his vaccines, microchip, and neuter. I believe that Buddy would make a great addition to either a family or a single person home as he is just looking to be loved and supported as he will give back that and much more. Meet Nick!
Sweet Nick, while you cling to me for dear life little boy I know that you have no idea that life is about to be full of love and happiness from now on, I promise you!
This adorable, gentle 22 week old pup is a mere 8 lbs. and most of it fluff! He got lucky and escaped from having to spend one more day in a puppy mill. His sweet eyes are so eager to know love. He is already learning the comforts of blankets and a dog bed. Bath time was pretty scary, but foster mamma said was necessary whatever that means & used such warm water & towel dried & blow dried him till his little body stopped shaking. Wrapped in a warm blanket and something foster mamma called a place of fire that went on with a woosh and Nick was finally snoozing. To see this tiny ball of fur finally relax enough to lay down and nap in warmth and comfort brings amazing joy. He will blossom further every day in his new freedom & be a joyful new family member to someone very lucky. He hopes that’s you?!
