📣 Important Biosecurity Update for All Clients

Out of an abundance of caution, and due to the highly contagious nature of EHV-1, I am implementing enhanced biosecurity procedures for all horse photo and video sessions.

🐴 Effective immediately:
• I will not be traveling to multiple facilities in one day-
• All clothing, footwear, and any equipment utilized for cliebt horses will be fully cleaned and disinfected with hospital grade disinfectant before and after shoots at all locations.

These steps are being taken out of respect for your horses, your breeding programs, and to support ongoing efforts to reduce risk and exposure.

If you have any questions or need to adjust your scheduled session, please feel free to reach out. This change Is a reflection of the recent outbreak of EHV-1.

I took a little trip down to Victoria Texas and photographed some outstanding prospects for Isabella Quarter Horses. All 3 yearlings will be presented at the BFA Horse Sale.

In all of my recent adventures I made my way back up to South Dakota to Fulton Ranch. Lisa and her sons, Jake, Jared, and John Lloyd are always so welcoming and over the years we’ve gotten such a great routine for the annual photoshoot.

Jake’s wife Laney is great at holding horses for me while Jake listens to me tell him “right front forward a half inch, left hind back a little” all day long and takes it all with a smile and shares his Coors light at the end of the day.

Every now and then we have to take a quick break on top of the hill to watch John Lloyd drive an atv out to stack hay with his best buddy Thor running behind him, who I remember from my first trip up here years ago as a puppy.

Jared’s new fiancé Karsyn got to grab some great behind the scenes action when I let her play shutterbug with my backup camera.

At the end of the day it’s all smiles and a fantastic meal on the ranch cooked by Lisa while we catch up and have great conversation. It’s always a great trip noth and one that I really enjoy.

I got to photograph A Dash Ta Streak and Lisa and I visited about how it’s his first stallion shoot on the ranch. I loved being able to do that for her. I loved photographing A Streak of Fling he was definitely one of my favorites and Dash is also pretty high on my list. He’s different from his sire but very dignified and an old soul. I’ll be posting a few different horses from my trip including Jake and Laney’s stud FLINGIN JAMESON but for now enjoy some shots of Dash. 🩵
