GREAT VALUE CAT
2022 Gelding

"Wally" is really smooth traveling and has had some cowhorse training. He has not been cowboyed on very much, but rides nice and is ready to go to work. His tail has been nerved. Sells 100% sound.

Sells Saturday September 26, 2026

Blackout headshots will always be some of my favorite photos to capture.

There’s something about taking away every distraction and letting the horse’s expression, details and personality speak for themselves.

One thing about me—I love a good comeback story, and this one is something special.

Earlier this year, Flash underwent what should have been a routine surgical procedure. Unfortunately, complications followed, and after weeks of critical care, it was discovered she had suffered a stroke.

Today, Flash is back where she belongs—home, happy, and continuing to make incredible progress every day. Summer and I have been trying to make this session happen for what feels like forever, and I’m so thankful our schedules finally lined up.

Everyone loves a comeback kid… and I think this one just might be one of my favorites. ❤️

When it comes to selling horses, the first impression happens long before they ever see them in person.

Professional sale photos get them noticed.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭. 🔥

Quality stallion photography is more than a good picture — it’s an 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 in marketing, first impressions and the face of your program.

Black Powderr made my job pretty easy.

There are some horses that are simply born for greatness. From the moment they enter the world, they carry something different. People see it before they can explain it. They know they’re looking at something special.

They grow. They mature. And when destiny finally calls, they answer it.

They leave their mark on an industry in ways that will be spoken of for decades. They become the record breakers—the horses that make us believe we’ve seen the very best they have to offer, only to come back and give us even more.

But the horses we don’t talk about enough are the ones who carried those once-in-a-lifetime athletes.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙢𝙨.

Because the truth is, greatness doesn’t begin in the winner’s circle. It begins with the mother.

These mares may have won a little, won a lot, or perhaps never won at all. Yet something within them is extraordinary. They possess an unexplainable spark, and somehow, generation after generation, they pass it on.

They are the first to carry the torch, quietly paving the way for their sons and daughters to become the horses that will never be forgotten.

That is what 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙝 𝘽𝙖𝙧 𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚 did.

We spend a lot of time talking about her son—and rightfully so. But before there was Adios, there was 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙝 𝘽𝙖𝙧 𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚.

She gave him the foundation, the heart, and whatever rare magic can’t be measured on paper. He carried that torch farther than anyone thought possible, accomplishing what no other performance horse—stallion or otherwise—has ever done.
