Today this sweet Bernadoodle pup came in for his very first groom and did amazing. He stayed calm, brave, and cute the whole way through. First grooms can be a big step. But this little pup handled it beautifully. And that gentleness matters, especially for young dogs. 🩵🩵

Sweet trixie came in for her first ever full haircut with me the other day. She did so well and the bath and trims I’ve done on her before perfectly prepared her for the full groom.

🐾✂️ Fresh pups, happy hearts! ✂️🐾

I had the pleasure of grooming two sweet pups over the last couple of days! Yesterday, this beautiful Australian Shepherd came in for some pampering, and today I got to freshen up another adorable little pup. 🥰

Both babies were SO good during their grooming appointments and left feeling fresh, clean, and looking their best! 🛁✨

I absolutely love getting to spend one-on-one time with each dog and helping them feel comfortable while they get pampered. 💕🐶

Thank you to their families for trusting me with your sweet babies! 💗

When Matting Becomes More Than a Haircut 🐾💔

Today I groomed a severely matted doodle, and unfortunately, the matting had become so extensive that he developed hematomas on both ears. 😔

This is why regular grooming and brushing at home are SO important. Severe matting isn’t just uncomfortable—it can pull tightly on the skin, hide irritation and injuries, restrict airflow, and create serious problems for our pups.

🛁 Regular professional grooming
🪮 Consistent brushing at home
📅 Keeping up with scheduled appointments

These little steps can make a HUGE difference in your dog’s comfort and overall well-being. ❤️

Please don’t wait until your pup is severely matted. If you’re unsure how often your dog should be groomed or what brushing routine is best, I’m always happy to help! 🐶✂️

Healthy coat = happy pup! 💕
