When Matting Becomes More Than a Haircut 🐾💔

Today I groomed a severely matted doodle, and unfortunately, the matting had become so extensive that he developed hematomas on both ears. 😔

This is why regular grooming and brushing at home are SO important. Severe matting isn’t just uncomfortable—it can pull tightly on the skin, hide irritation and injuries, restrict airflow, and create serious problems for our pups.

Petey & Lincoln came in today for a MUCH-needed makeover! These sweet boys were badly matted, but they were such troopers through the process. 💕✂️

✨ What a weekend! ✨

I’m so thankful for everyone who trusted me with their pups this weekend. I had the pleasure of meeting new furry friends, helping nervous pups feel more comfortable, and sending every dog home looking and feeling their best. 🐾💕

Seeing those happy faces (and wagging tails!) is exactly why I love what I do.

Thank you to all of my amazing clients for your continued support—it truly means the world to me! If your pup is due for a bath, haircut, or nail trim, now is a great time to get on the schedule before appointments fill up.

Three new faces in the salon today, and each one made my day in their own way. 💕

🐾 One sweet pup came in absolutely terrified, but with lots of patience and encouragement, they conquered their nail grind like a champ. I’m so proud of them!

🐾 Another was an absolute sweetheart and did great for every part of their appointment.

🐾 And my last client? A total angel from start to finish. They stood so nicely and made grooming a breeze!

Every dog is different, and I love taking the time to help each one feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Watching nervous pups build confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. 🩷

Thank you to all my wonderful clients for trusting me with your babies! I can’t wait to see them all again. ✂️🐶
