Today's selfie is Wednesday!

Hi. My name is Wednesday, but they call me Baby, Wendsy Bendsy!

My favorite activity is playing with wand toys, and the weirdest thing I do is curl up next to meemaw, fart and immediately leave.

Today's selfie is Sir!

Hi. My name is Sir, but they call me Tiny Menace!

My favorite activity is watching bird tv in the catio, and the weirdest thing I do is wag my tail like a dog when I’m happy or excited.

Hi. My name is Sisu, but they call me Floof!

My favorite activity is watching the outside channel, and the weirdest thing I do is sleep with my tongue sticking out.

Hi. My name is Fiona, but they call me Fefe!

My favorite activity is watching birds out the window, and the weirdest thing I do is try to steal chicken nuggets off my human sister’s dinner plates!

This is why we always recommend removing broken teeth! This lower canine tooth in a feline patient is broken just at the tip - only a small fracture. However, you can see that the pulp chamber inside the tooth, where the nerves live, is wider than normal. In addition, the space at the tip of the root is darker or more lucent than normal, indicating infection.

This cat was eating and acting completely normally according to the owner, but this is a painful tooth! Imaging having an exposed tooth root in your mouth and having to live and eat with it every day, then developing pain in your jaw as infection sets in.

This kind of problem is often overlooked or dismissed in our feline patients. We make sure to check all of our kitties' teeth carefully when they come in for a checkup exam, and this is one of the many reason that routine checkup exams are recommended regularly, even if they seem completely healthy. Call today to set up your appointment!

*The adorable orange kitty is here only to demonstrate normal canine teeth. His are not broken!

We found this sweet cat hiding in a bush on 7/7/26. He started meowing once he saw us. He is very friendly, sweet and loving. We named him Shadow because he follows us as we walk around. When you talk to him, he purrs, rolls around, and kneads. He would make a great companion for someone. He looks like he might be 1-2 years old. Our guess is that he got dumped here as we live in the country. We already checked with neighbors and no one claims him. He is not chipped and he is getting his vaccines and being neutered today. Given how friendly he is and wants to be around humans, our best guess is that he is used to being around humans and once was indoors, especially as he tries to get inside our house.

We feed him 2x daily on our front porch where he also sleeps.

If we didn’t already have cats, we would take in without hesitation. He would make a great companion pet. When he has seen our cats through our deck door, he rolled on his side and showed them his belly, so it seems he likely would get along with other pets.
