🚨 HARLEY VS. THE CAST: ROUND 847 🚨

Meet Harley, our 7-month-old Lab who came to stay with us after breaking her leg. 🐾💗

She’s supposed to be spending her time resting, healing, and letting that leg do its thing…

BUT HARLEY HAS OTHER PLANS. 😂

This little menace has been coming up with some VERY creative strategies to get her cast off. Twisting, turning, chewing, plotting… honestly, we’re pretty sure she has been holding staff meetings when we leave the room. 🤦‍♀️🤣

And after going through FOUR CASTS because Harley has made it her personal mission to remove every single one, we’re hoping this latest one finally wins the battle! 😂

Her owners are doing everything they can to make sure she heals properly, and we’re doing our best to keep this determined little girl from undoing all their hard work.

After several rounds of “Harley vs. Veterinary Medicine,” we think we may have finally outsmarted her. 😏

For now, Harley is on strict rest, lots of TLC, and absolutely NO cast removal projects.
Keep healing, sweet girl… and please stop trying to outsmart the entire veterinary team. 😂🐶🩷

We’ve been seeing an increase in Parvo cases, and we want to help keep your furry family members safe! ❤️

Parvo is highly contagious and can be life-threatening, especially for puppies and unvaccinated dogs.

💉 Vaccination is the best protection! Make sure your pet is up to date on their vaccines and avoid exposing unvaccinated puppies to high-risk areas.
If your pet is due for vaccines—or you’re not sure—give us a call! 🐶💚

Protect them before they’re at risk. Vaccinate!

🐾 PET OF THE WEEK: A Little Fighter! 🐾
This sweet little puppy was found all alone in the bushes by a kind-hearted bystander who brought him to us for help. ❤️

After testing, we discovered that this little guy was battling hookworms — intestinal parasites that can cause severe anemia, weakness, diarrhea, and even become life-threatening in young puppies.

The good news? He’s improving a little more every day! 🥰 He is still in the hospital receiving the care and treatment he needs, and we are hoping and praying that he continues to get stronger. 🙏🐶

💡 A reminder for pet parents: Hookworms are common in puppies and can be transmitted through contaminated soil, f***s, and even from mom to her puppies. Regular f***l testing and parasite prevention are so important!
Keep this little fighter in your thoughts! ❤️🐾

Today we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy and honor the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. We hope you and your loved ones have a safe, fun-filled Independence Day.

Don't forget to keep your pets safe from fireworks by providing a quiet, secure place indoors and making sure they have updated ID tags.
