Meet Haas 💙. He 7 years old and was brought into Riverwalk Animal Hospital after an encounter with a raccoon. Dr. Carrie and Veterinary Technician Lily followed protocol to the letter. Most importantly, Haas is current on his rabies vaccination and wellness plan. Stay current on rabies vaccinations - it’s our SC law and can be lifesaving.

SECTION 47-5-60. INOCULATION OF PETS; A pet owner must have his pet inoculated against rabies at a frequency to provide continuous protection of the pet from rabies using a vaccine approved by the department and licensed by the United States Department of Agriculture. The rabies inoculation for pets must be administered by a licensed veterinarian or someone under a licensed veterinarian's direct supervision, as defined in Section 40-69-20. Evidence of rabies inoculation is a certificate signed by a licensed veterinarian.

The year 2000 marked incredible turning points. Mattel introduced the 2000 Pet Doctor Barbie, while Dr. Stacy O'Quinn opened Riverwalk Animal Hospital, one of her many extraordinary achievements. We are all proud of Dr. Stacy O'Quinn and Mattel for promoting the veterinary profession.
