If your dog needs a walking buddy, Oakley’s always happy to join 🐾

Socialization isn’t just about dogs being “friendly.” It’s exposure. New dogs, new energy, new situations while they’re calm and on leash. That’s what builds confidence over time.

Walking together gives them a low pressure way to practice all of that, side by side instead of face to face. And when dogs are meeting for the first time, it’s always best to do it on neutral ground first, before going into anyone’s home or yard.

(Guy didn’t give two hoots about that though. He was so stoked and welcoming of her in his home, doing full 360s, lol)

Don’t come at me for my egg cracking skills 😅

This morning’s breakfast routine involved a whole lot of… MEAT. Ground beef, beef chunks, raw liver, quail eggs, and a sprinkle of bee pollen. Made fresh and exactly to their routine, even though Tommy yelled at me the entire time for taking too long.

Whatever your pet eats, I’ll make sure it’s made to perfection, every time.

Fun little check-in with these boys 🤍🐾

Winston had to grab a quick bite before zooming around the yard, and Barry wasn’t about to miss out on the fun. A little ball chase, a little romping around, and a lot of energy later, both boys were completely tuckered out.

Oh gosh, what a Guy 🤍 Yep, that’s his name! And isn’t he just the most handsome little gentleman?

We just started our walks together and I’m already obsessed. We take our time, stop and sniff everything worth sniffing, soak up that morning sun, and just hang out. I look forward to seeing his happy little face every single day and something tells me this is the beginning of something really sweet. ✨

What a day! Little Levi had so much energy and love to give and we made sure he got to pour it all out. From playful check-ins to dipping our toes in the river bottom, we had the best time together. Hope to see you again so soon little one. 🤍

She didn’t ask to be the face of anything. She just showed up every single day and somehow became the reason all of this exists.

Oakley & Me started because of her. The name, the work, the way I show up for every animal I care for all comes back to this silly, full of life, whole-hearted girl. Five years of her showing me what it looks like to love something with your whole chest and promising myself I’d bring that same love to every animal I care for. Each pet I work with gets loved like they’re my own, because I know what it means to love your own the way I love her.
