Meet 7 month old mix named Samba. She's the latest student. This is a sunset session at the end of her first full day. 👆Key takeaway 🔑 Practice recall aka coming when called when you actually don't need your dog to come. That way you can release them (freedom) back to fun. Why not come when called if you may get a treat PLUS you get to return to romping with your friends on the beach? Don't wait until you need to have your dog to come in a panick and inadvertently punish them for coming, by leashing them up and leaving the park. This is day 1. Stay tuned for day 2 at the beach to see the improvement. NOTE: client said her recall is his biggest challenge with samba. She stays close, but likes to avoid coming within arms reach.
