In fields where gentle whispers sway,
Where dogs at play learn in the day,
Riley listens, Morticia too,
In steps they take, their bond is true.

They know their names, not threats but chance,
In every glance, their hearts entranced,
Tofu’s checks in, eyes on me,
In bonds that grow eternally.

To sit, to lay, with ease they show,
In quiet grace their actions flow,
Loose leash walking by my side,
Rosie’s trust, our hearts allied.

No pain, no fear, no harsh commands,
Just tender touch and gentle hands,
Jolene spins, Broomstick twists,
A dance of joy none can resist.

They touch their nose to hand-held mark,
In silent trust, they leave their spark,
With target followed, come when called,
In every task, their love enthralled.

Amongst themselves, in calm they greet,
In peace, their souls together meet,
No growl, no snap, just peaceful cheer,
In harmony, they conquer fear.

In woods and fields, they move as one,
Their spirits bright, like morning sun,
For teaching dogs, in love’s embrace,
Brings out their best, their truest grace.
