Ark-La-Tex Horse Rescue We are a 501c3 non-profit organization that takes care of and adopts out horses.

Based in Oil City, Louisiana, we offer a haven for horses of all kind to heal and be cared for until placement in a carefully selected and loving home enviroment. Our mission is to offer temporary shelter, quality care, adoption/retirement services, medical treatment, rehabilitation and, most importantly, promote the humane treatment of and provide a second chance at life for viable horses. We rec

ognize that we cannot save every horse in need but are committed to rescue as many as we can effectively handle. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization, donation run and financed facility, but gratefully accept feed, equipment, and veterinary medical donations.
