☀️ The Alabama heat is here, and it’s no joke!

With temperatures soaring this month, it’s important to help keep our furry family members safe and comfortable.

Here are a few simple ways to protect your pets:
🐶 Make sure they always have access to fresh, cool water.
🌳 Keep walks to the early morning or late evening, and avoid hot pavement, it can burn their paws!
🏡 Bring pets indoors or provide plenty of shade during the hottest parts of the day.
🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked car, even for a minute.
🥵 Watch for signs of heat-stress, including excessive panting, drooling, confusion, bright red gums, or collapsing. If you notice these signs, seek veterinary care immediately.

🐾🌈 A Peaceful Goodbye Surrounded by Love 🌈🐾

We had the honor of helping sweet “The Bunk” cross the Rainbow Bridge, with his beloved friend Craig the bunny right by his side.

One of the greatest gifts of in-home veterinary care is the ability to say goodbye in a familiar place, surrounded by the people and companions who mean the most. There is comfort in being at home, and peace in knowing you don’t have to face those final moments alone.

The bond between animals is something truly special, and seeing Craig there to offer quiet companionship was a beautiful reminder of the love our pets share with one another.
