Xena and I had a great day in Alexandria with UKC conformation and nosework at the UKC Grassland Dog Sport Club show. She received 2 reserve Grand Champion wins in a competitive Grand Class, then took two qualifying Novice Exterior Nosework runs to earn her NE (Novice Exterior) title and a Total Dog Award which is a Regional Qualifying Total Dog.

Xena added two more letters to her list today. She received her 2nd qualifying run in nosework today for her Novice Interiors title!!!! We are just starting out in our nosework adventure so this is a proud accomplishment for Xena! Xena and I also placed 2nd of 5 teams!

Xena is working hard on upgrading her letters as well! She got her third and fourth legs towards her grand champion title by winning the champion class twice today against some beautiful champions. It is an honor to win when the competition is stiff and the quality is so good.

Xena has two more days of shows this weekend (4 more shows).

We also are dipping our toes into nosework for fun and something different. She tried Novice Interiors today and didn't get a Q, but we will keep trying as there are several conformation shows in the near future that offer nosework. Then also start working on rally obedience. She is really growing up and developing into such a beautiful girl and at just 19 months, she has so much in her future!!! She is showing her potential more everyday!

She strutted her stuff in the ring. She didn't have any class competition, but she already had 4 competition wins prior to this show but just needed the measly 20 points. It was super cool to see her in the Best of Breed ring with two other Bolero granddaughters!!!! Bolero wasn't perfect, but he sure produced well!!!!
