Added a new skill to Oakleys resume 🤓

I’ve been prepping her over the last week with various things in hopes to need her this weekend. Sadly we didn’t get so lucky but this filly did her job and she did it well.
I was amazed at how well she handled it. Some points were so steep and rocky, we had to hand walk the saddle horses.

Despite going through water, thick brush we couldn’t ride in, traveling through the land of forgotten rocks and honestly uphill for most of it, she did it all.
I’m insanely thrilled with her and she definitely earned the weekend off. 🙌🏻

here’s to praying things work out. god has a plan for you and I.
It’s hard not to feel abandoned and out in the dark but I’m choosing to trust that there is something better for me that’s coming.
I’ve worked so hard to build Wild Hearts up to what it is and I’ve dedicated so much of myself to learning and getting better.
This isn’t the end… it can’t be.

Oh Alaska….

Slow pieces, baby mini steps, half step progresses.
She has a heart of gold and I actually REALLY like this mare. I see so much good in her too.
I’m putting that out there in the universe that she’s gonna figure this out and it’s going to go good. She’s gonna figure it out. 🫶🏻
